My psychotherapy approach to healing & restoration is integrative, tailored to each client; it's based on cultivating self-compassion & grounded in research, awareness-building & mindfulness; it's culturally sensitive. Mindfulness & self-compassion skills are not easy yet they are effective to support yourself, especially the wounded or unseen/unheard parts. I discovered mindfulness, compassion, and yoga in my journey of healing a stressful work & family environments. These approaches have sustained me & with them I empower clients to learn how to cultivate compassion for themselves, build mindfulness, emotional balance & autonomy.
