Extra bitter if Haselhurst's Cure:tm: doesn't work on her, causing Haselhurst to treat her more as a person rather than someone that he will out live - and she realizes he didn't really see her much as a person but as a temporary legacy. if that makes any sense, somehow. tapping my finger against my forehead.

Thinking about this, but I don't think 049 would ever stop having his delusions of the pestilence. As long as their is his own evidence and as long as he keeps on digging himself into a hole, he will forever have his delusions. How or what could even break him out of said delusion would require him, in his mind, to abandon everything he has ever known and worked for. As well as coming to terms with the fact he has killed so many people for... what, exactly? For a cure to a disease that has never existed?

Dyo isn't exactly helping with it, pushing and pulling into his delusions when convenient, believing and then attacking his belief when it suits him. Ends up with 049 digging himself deeper into his delusions of the Pestilence almost out of spite than genuine belief.
