can you draw my Moonlight Murderer au of Varigo??? If you’re uncomfortable drawing that it’s ok. Also, here’s the au (I don’t necessarily need to explain the entire thing, but it should help ig):
Varian and the others (at this point in the story) are in their teens at Corona High. At this point, ‘the others’ refers to Cass, Lance, Eugene, Keira, Catalina, and Rapunzel. Most are 16, Varian’s 14, and Keira and Catalina are 11. They don’t go to school but hang around anyways. Varian is living in the orphanage because his mom’s dead and his dad is in a coma. Then a serial killer starts to attack Corona. They kill ten people, and their preferred method of murder? NONEXISTENT. It changes each time, and the reason each us identified as a victim is because of the fact that they brand the center of their victim’s palm with a crescent moon, earning them the nickname ‘Moonlight Murderer’ (and also the fact that none of the killing methods involve blood, there’s no stabbing or slitting throats). Now, everyone has decided to stake out someone they predict to be the next victim, aka Mayor Sun/Frederick Sun/Rapunzel’s dad. Varian calculated it and found when they believe they’ll strike. And then no one shows up. The next day, they’re freaking out and realize they need Varian to help them figure out why the murderer skipped Raps’ dad, they never do that, and yet, no one through the entire town reported anyone missing or dead. No murders. And then they find him in his room… with one of the previous victim’s necklaces or something. Varian’s the serial killer, he killed 10 people. He traumatized them by chasing them through the orphanage but uh he wasn’t planning on hurting them, just scaring them. He just stopped caring about stuff afterwards. He turned himself in, and he never looks at people the way he used to, like an innocent, sweet boy, he started looking at people like a predator hunting prey. He’s sent to an asylum, most high-security cell. The others grow up, and after three years (Varian’s 17 now), his dad wakes up and is extremely confused and is like ‘is my son ok’ and they’re like ‘… who’s gonna tell him’ and they just take him to visit his son who just casually says ‘oh yeah I killed ten people :)’ and his dad is like ‘… I can’t deal with this’ and moves away to become a farmer and Varian just continues being a clinically insane teenager… until he meets someone who will never lose Two Truths and a Lie again.
Hugo is a true crime fan in this au and when he learned that the ‘Moonlight Murderer’ was his age he was like ‘I don’t care how dangerous this guy is I wanna meet him’ and visits Var and starts talking to him as if he was just a normal guy and Varian is confused for a second because he’s literally a serial killer, Hugo should be at least a bit scared, but he’s actually kinda secretly happy Hugo isn’t treating him differently and Hugo somehow makes him switch from ‘serial killer’ mode to ‘the cutest sweetest most wholesome most adorable creature to ever grace this earth’ mode and even the security guards think it’s sweet (and they both fall for each other even though Varian’s literally a murderer) and then Varian and Hugo decide to ‘date’ each other even though Varian’s kinda stuck in an asylum so they do their best and uh yeah it’s cute :)
