When Jack Wolfe makes his Orpheus and Broadway debut and you get new art supplies on the same day, naturally you gotta make some art about it. Congrats to the new Hadestown cast! I’m jealous of everyone who gets to see them.

Aftgtwt had some weird opinions about Andrew sitting on Neil’s lap so I drew this to prove people wrong. Andrew would love to sit on Neil’s lap. It makes him feel tall and no one else can sit there??? Also they cannot keep their hands off each other and are pushing each other into beanbag chairs so I don’t see lap sitting as a huge leap.

My prompt today was moon and I love love love how this turned out. Sometimes the prompts really just inspire a soft setting kinda vibe.

Spending Inktober drawing my original characters to try to hype me up for my second draft of my novel that I’m hoping to get into during NaNoWriMo. This is Aileen. I love her. All bodies are good bodies, especially fat disabled ones.

Also, apparently I have a type and it’s Knife (sword) Wife.

That color wheel challenge got me doodling again. Please enjoy a rainbow of my favorite male fictional characters. I do have plans to do my favorite ladies too, hopefully sometime this week.

Happy Book Birthday to Any Way the Wind Blows!! Carry On came to me during two very difficult times in my life. I read it as the 2016 election unfolded, and after everything I kind of forgot about it before reading it again during a very difficult holiday season. I read the first two books again to prepare for the release of this one, and they hit different now that I’m in a serious relationship and I’ve experienced COVID on the front lines. I love Simon Snow and his friends. I love these books. I love how much I see myself in all of them. It’s been a pleasure growing alongside them.
