me realising that I have to realise that I am in control of my reality in order to control my reality
Why y'all so mean to the baby shifters now?
Like what happened to the understanding that shifting can be hard? And that's okay.
You shouldn't be nasty to people looking for guidance just because you feel like you cracked the code and it's so easy.

thoughts on immortality ??
i’ve thought about it earlier—i derealized accidentally. i was both fascinated, and horrified, at the fact that we’re just going to live forever. this is just a thought, but what if one day, we just get bored? i know it’s silly, but really think about it. say, you have already experienced everything; you have shifted to every reality, experience every little thing, so what more of it to explore?
ps, i think you could just manifest infinite dopamine slash not being bored, ever… but, yeah 😭
You can sort of imagine it like a playlist of all your favourite songs. You like every one, obviously, which doesn't mean they always hit just right when you need it. You find new favourite songs, you add them, have more variety
I won't lie and say I don't sometimes get bored of certain things. There are only so many years I can spend at Hogwarts, for example. Occasionally, being a superhero gets exhausting or I start missing people who aren't in Monster High. Everything absolutely fixable. I shift from here to there, when I don't want to live more lives at the moment I shift to my WR with my husbands, and if I end up needing more of my friends around I pay the afterlife a visit. And all over again.
There always is more as you are limitless and the multiverse is infinite. Be silly. Some time ago I shifted to Twilight for the mere reason of showing Carlisle Cullen the cult accusations against his family. It's really not that serious
☕️ Medically assisted suicide, and suicide in general?
I’ve been sitting on this question for a while, because I feel like my expressive writing ability has been on the fritz. I’m trying to get it back.
So I’m going to start from the general (suicide in general) and go to the specific (medically assisted suicide/active euthanasia).
First and foremost, I believe that bodily autonomy is an absolute human right with zero exceptions. As long as a person’s choice about xyr individual body is informed and uncoerced, anyone should be free to do whatever ze wants with xry own body always and forever.
“Informed” and “Uncoerced” are key, there. Informed – if they understand that the action they take is likely to result in their death, and they understand that death is permanent and irreversible, and that if a person is not being coerced into the decision, then, if a person wants to take action likely to result in xyr death, no one should have the power to stop xem.
After all, if a person wants to make that choice, the only way to stop xem would be to infringe on their bodily autonomy (e.g. by restraining them) which is unacceptable.
So ultimately, yes, a person giving informed, uncoerced consent should be free to end xyr own life.
However.
Most humans, most of the time, have an extremely powerful survival instinct.
If we didn’t, we would have gone extinct long ago.
When a critical number of people have lost that survival instinct, that’s a massive warning sign about those people’s living conditions.
If people are denied the freedom and resources to live and thrive as their authentic selves, and this drives them to lose their survival instinct, they are not making a free, informed, uncoerced choice to end their lives; they’re being socially murdered.
Circling back to medically assisted suicide in particular, here we have left the realm of individual personal choice of one’s own body – medical euthanasia is not merely an individual’s choice, it’s an official, government-sanctioned stance of the medical community, society, and the state, that death is the best solution to some people’s lives. When a person seeks medical care and the doctor says “Have you considered just dying instead of being a useless eater burden to your family and society?” this is not a matter of individual choice. This is the combined forces of every social institution declaring that disabled lives are not worth living.
People are “choosing” medically assisted suicide after being denied healthcare, housing, incomes, or freedom. This is no choice at all. This is social murder. Individuals should be free to end their lives if they choose to, but doctors certainly should not be able to suggest it as a treatment option.
Consider also how the spectre of suicide is used against different parts of the disability community differently. For psychiatrically disabled/Mad/Neurodivergent people, suicide is held up as the threat justifying the necessity of incarceration and forced drugging. “If we let this person have bodily autonomy, they might kill themself, therefore, we have to lock them up and chemically restrain them.” For physically and especially mobility impaired people, suicide is pushed as the medically, scientifically, socially, and morally objectively correct “choice” (“No one would want to live like that and be a burden on their family”). The term “death with dignity” is so telling – “dignity” is defined as incompatible with disability, better to die abled (“with dignity”) then to live as disabled (“without dignity”).
In summary: Bodily autonomy should be an absolute, no-exceptions human right. No one should be denied bodily autonomy for the sake of “preventing suicide”. However, “choosing” to die by suicide when someone’s life has been made unlivable by systemic ableism, oppression, deprivation, or abuse is not a “choice”; it’s a murder.

experimentation and curiosity is dead and this community has killed it.
though, loablr and shiftblr feels less like a community and more like someone handed us a half-ripped newspaper from ten years ago and we’ve all been taking turns photocopying it ever since.
the second someone offers advice that isn’t wrapped in ten layers of sugar and glitter, or is SLIGHTLY different, suddenly everybody starts chanting “limiting beliefs!”
there is no room for individuality on this app.
i get that this whole practice is made up on just assume and persist, but jesus fucking christ. for people who constantly talk about infinite possibilities, a shocking amount of you refuse to consider any possibility outside of what you’ve already decided is true and then complain that you're not getting ANY results…
don’t you think it’s time to look a little inwards?
look into why you get angry the second you encounter information that isn't the same recycled shit you rely on big bloggers to spoonfeed you? i’ll help you answer!
IT’S BECAUSE YOU’VE EFFECTIVELY MADE YOURSELF IMPOSSIBLE TO LEARN ANYTHING NEW.
you are not interesting in learning nor understanding this practice, reading the history behind it, the different forms of it, putting in some form of effort. dare i say, ANY EFFORT AT ALL.
you just want the easiest answer, the smoothest route yet complain that you even have to persist in getting it.
so what are you really scrolling on here for? the aesthetics? the THOUGHT of getting what you want because it’s somehow safer than actually experiencing your desires? i mean, no judgement, but if you’re comfortable with your life staying unmanifested in your head, atleast tell yourself that. but alas, i’ll let you continue your scrolling!

the shifting community
after taking a step back from this account (and deciding it was the right thing to do) i think i've come to a conclusion about the shifting community
I really do not think we were meant to engage in this much content surrounding shifting.
now, that's not to say that the advice on here is inherently wrong or useless, (quite the opposite really) but I do think there's just a LOT of it.
and I mean a LOT.
which again, may not be a bad thing. a lot of the advice pertains to different aspects of shifting and how to tackle it and find the key.
but I really do think that's where it all went wrong.
you may hear a lot of people say thing like "we were never meant to know this many people" or "we were never meant to have access to this much content" and I think we can apply a lot of this to shifting as a whole.
something that inspired this post was an ask I received yesterday when I logged back onto this account for the first time in a few weeks. the very first one. something along the lines of asking if I left because I lied.
now, when I first read that, my first thought wasn't, "how dare this person accuse me of such a thing? how dare they accuse me of stooping so low???!!!"
my first thought was that this was likely someone that thinks they haven't had any success in their journey and started looking at outside sources as scapegoats to blame their frustrations on.
and i wasn't really mad
(actually I was for a few minutes but that's beside the point!)
but I realized that this isn't uncommon. I've seen countless shifting creators receive asks in different fonts asking the same thing.
"Why haven't I shifted yet?"
I want you to think and look at that sentence for a second. asking someone (who doesn't even know you because let's be honest, no matter how well worded and detailed your ask is, they still don't know you to the extent you know yourself) why YOU haven't shifted.
now, I will sympathize with you if you've been in this spot, because it isn't easy. I understand desperation. I do. I promise. but im telling you, the advice you come up with yourself will help and resonate with you 100x more.
but the thing is, you aren't alone. the same creators and big blogs u ask that question to HAS been in your exact spot. and usually, the moment they log off socials and start looking inwards on how to shift, is when the shift actually happens. (and no this is not meant to be a cheat code on how to shift, it's just something I've noted in the community)
a post from a creator I saw a while ago really resonated with me. and it made me realize, when I saw shifting at its core, that people are seeing it as a to-do list. we've come a long way from 2020, but that was only a few years ago, so some aspects of shifting from that time are still evident in the community today.
you cannot blame anyone for not shifting, but that also includes you. don't be hard on yourself. shifting isn't insanely easy like everyone says (in my opinion), but it is simple.
go back to the bare basics. you may ask, "well what are the basics of shifting?" they're whatever YOU think they are.
this is kind of my letter to shiftblr (one that is definitely not proofread....) as I may not be posting regularly on here for a long while. but just know i love my mutuals and followers and everyone on here!🪷
goodnight for now and good luck forever!💛
