Someone just reblogged some of my fan art with an almost 3000 word long think piece on how they don’t like my comedic response to an ask, presumably because they take it as some kind of personal insult and not ‘haha character funnee’. I managed to copy it and save it to check the word count, and I’m glad I did because I wanna reblog it (since it might be the funniest thing that has ever happened to me and it’s a ride from start to finish) but alas I think they also instantly deleted the post, (or it’s just too long for tumblr to handle), because the reblog option throws out an error every time I try to reblog it.

Seethe.png because the devtools for creatures 3/docking station are acting up in a somewhat complicated way. But on the upside I heard back from the STCO staff about the thing I’m doing so it’s back to working on comic pages for today!

I cannot stress enough how funny it is that in japanese, Frieza exclusively (as far as I’ve found) refers to his father, King Cold, as ‘papa’. Even when frieza is like, somewhere around the 40-50 year mark by Dragon Ball Super. When he’s asking what happened to his father, he doesn’t say ‘what happened to my dad/father/king cold’ he just says ‘papa wa?’. The thing is though? His followers are so used to this that they just know what he means anyway. This has noticeable repercussions by the way on his underlings: Sorbet legitimately seems to not actually know what Frieza’s dad is called, and even before Frieza is back on the scene he refers to King Cold as ‘papa frieza’/frieza’s papa. This man, the great King Cold, once ruled at very least a galactic arm’s worth of territory... But nope, everyone knows him as Papa Frieza.

starts day bright and early, at a normal human hour, has breakfast with spouse and is generally having a great start to the day! online group talking about bug fixing for an issue I mentioned earlier, so I join discussion person says something mildly argumentative in my direction over an extremely slight misunderstanding of wording (approx. me suggesting a method of fixing vs. me offering to do fix.. it was the former ftr) well now my day’s just fucking ruined aint it >:c I’m smart enough to know I need to find something else to do to change my mood and what I’m thinking about- I have an image I’ve been working on, I’ve taken a shower, I’m having lunch... But my mood’s still kinda bad even though I know it’s dumb as hell to be bummed out. man it’s been going on a decade since I last had someone professional to talk to about this kinda thing, good thing ‘get a therapist’ is on my to do list for next month. :/
