Can people back me up on this.. I love thinking of Mikami with heterochromia. It doesn’t even have to be the very obvious kind either like his eyes could be a dark brown and a lighter more hazel colour and I would eat it up.
Idc about shinigami eye rules I’m breaking them rn because I need them to be slightly visible under moonlight and the red hue would be more obvious in the hazel eye. I want Light to notice that and think Mikami is great.

Mikami has like NO merch so I had to search so hard for the little bit he has. I have the figure that comes with the dvd, trading cards, two nendoroid petites, and a badge but it’s not enough so I spent 255 for a custom plush of him. If they don’t make merch of him I’ll just get my own
Why don’t more people ship mikalight it’s literally one of the only ships in death note that makes a lot of sense. Go read a mikalight fic for once in ur life there’s a good chunk that are really good. Plus the rare amount of fanart is awesome.

I finally got my hands on the MikaLight card after searching high and low.
I know I’ve talked about this with a few Instagram mutuals but the small amount of Mikami likers deserve to hear this headcanon
This was originally a MikaLight scenario but I imagine that only under a moonlit place, you can get a small look at a hint of red tint in Mikami’s eyes despite them being rlly dark. I KNOW OTHER PPL CAN’T SEE SHINIGAMI EYES BUT IMAGINE.. SPECIFICALLY UNDER THE MOONLIGHT.
I like to imagine that Light has a calm conversation about how nice that red colour compliments him and Mikami is in awe that he noticed such a small thing about him.
