she goes up to the screen of a distorted crowd . “repeat after me” but it’s prerecorded it’s scripted she’s not really talking to anyone. in fact hardly anyone on that set is real. her drummer and her guide is just a projection, the bodies next to her in the couch are decaying before her, the backup dancers are all seized vessels, just there to keep her in line. “repeat after me” but she knows it’s fake, she knows it’s just for the bishops, just for the idea of it all, except if she pretends, it’s real. they’re real and they can sing back to her and get her out.

guys what if i said that tyler and josh’s star signs are considered astrological soulmates, oh and josh is an air sign and tyler is a fire sign and you need air to keep fire alive. and what if i said that tyler was a smothered fire until josh came along and gave him the air he needed to keep burning.
