Tried my hand in this back rooms trend, might be a lil late but GO AWAY WHO INVITED YOU!!

This is supposed to replicate the hat in time title cards for each chapter!

I'd like to see a AHIT fan continuation series with the badge seller as protagonist and invisible cat thief as antagonist.

Hatkid is never mentioned, or is at most, implied in conversation.

The premise?

Maybe how the badge seller navigates the badge economy in different worlds leading up to encounters with Hatkid.

The key would be whimsy and melancholic atmosphere.

Trust the audience with silence.

Let the concepts dwell in subtext.

It just so happens that I love hats… and apparently things with 'hat' in the title

I decided to drop Hat Kid from AHIT into the 'Witch Hat Atelier' setting. Since she is literally called 'Hatter in some fun fictions, I felt like she absolutely had to join the Brimmed Hats, especially with time magic being on the verge of being forbidden. I just had a lot of fun coming up with these designs.

Plus, Hat Kid’s original design already fits the Atelier setting so well, I barely had to change a thing

It’s kinda funny how the Seal the Deal skin actually looks a little like Evil Coco design with those sleeves…

An overlooked positive of AHIT is that not only was there plenty of yarn to find for hat crafting and money for badges, but all the hats and most badges actually worked as intended in complex environments.

You'd think there'd be more explanation of the creatures on Alpine Skyline.

Big goats. Tiny people with accents. Villages.

Giant bird cage with egg farm.

Huge windmill.

Lava Cakes Mountain.

Twilight Bell portal.

There's actually a lot of sense to be made here.

Kind of reminds me towns near lighthouses.

Everything and everyone works together and apart.

The Spirit Foxes required specific portraits to be burned to end their existence in a certain area.

This might mean Spirit Foxes' souls are hosted in artworks.

It's also a portal type mechanism.

Interesting connection. Something to ponder further.
