The kid did a high jump onto a platform, landing on the wooden solid and grabbed the dark green yarn that was her target. Her last ball!
Hat kid loved collecting things, especially things for good use like a Relic and, at the moment, yarn. They were fun to make hats with, even though she needed a certain amount of balls that were scattered around all the places she went to.
Hat kid took the ball and teleported to her spaceship, landing in the kitchen. She had just gone out of Mafia Town. Without a second thought, she darted to the bedroom. It wasn't long till she ended in the relaxation of the Subcon forest. Where she can meet her BFF!
Landing on her feet and striking her obvious and original pose, she rushed down a road. At her end was a lake, a giant wavy vine with steps ending to a hollow tree trunk. Hat kid made her way over, meeting the ghost that runned the place she ventured into.
“Hey Snatcher!!” The little girl called out.
The goul let out a groan of misery, “WHAT do you want?”
“Just want to say hi to my BFF!”
“for the last time. We aren't friends. That's NOT how contracts work.” The taller creature gave the humanoid alien a glare of hatred, before pulling his book closer and flipping the page. Slouching into his giant chair.
“Well, I just collected my last ball, so that means…I can make a new hat!” She comments as she quickly knits the hat with her umbrella. The hat wasn't actually a hat, but a fox mask.
The Snatcher did conform to it. “Kid, that's not a hat. It's a mask, something of the Subcon culture.”
“Well its got to have SOME ability. Do you know?” Hat kid asks as she examines the mask with clear curiosity. Snatches groans again and shakes his head, “those are on your freaky dinky time abilities. Not mine.”
Hat kid slips on the mask, humming before looking around. Everything around her glowed a lime glow-in-the-dark green. Fascinating…
Her curiosity and facination quickly fell down when she let her eyes lay on Snatcher. But he wasn't there. No. In his place was a younger man. A prince.
The prince was pale, or what she sees, with some type of silky wavy hair, pointing up at his ends. It grew down to his shoulders, or maybe past that if actually straightened? He wore a crown on top of his head, balanced. His outfit held some type of buttoned top with puffy sleeves and pants. Knee-high boots at his feet. His legs were crossed, left over right.
“So, what does the mask do?” The human suddenly spoke, glancing up. His voice sounded like Snatcher. Loud, creepy (she got used to it. She doesn't find it scary anymore). She didn't respond.
At her face, Snatcher laughed loudly, “Don't look at me like that! You already see a ghost!” He claims booming, not knowing what she saw.
“Peck…” she's seen this man before. It was like yesterday…literally. It was in a book, she was sure of it. A prince who got trapped due to a misunderstanding, leaving to rot and cry in a cell from his girlfriend.
Hat kid quickly took off the mask, forcing a smile to her friend, who just turned back into a giant black ghost.
“I will…be right back~” She says in a sing-song tune, and as soon as she could. She ran out.
“Better than you here.” snatcher grumbled, rolling his eyes as his smile fell and he went back to his book
thank you so much! I was actually just thinking about this comic recently and realized that at the end I should have written something like: 'Wow didn't know you could read, kid.' Lol

I haven't had much time to draw for myself lately, mostly because of a university project (tempera is taking a long time and i still have 16 pages to finish) but also because Epic has given me a new hyper fixation and i don't know what to do with it.
It's like a curse to find fandoms and be a year or two late to the party. But on the other hand, i've become really interested in mythology. You can't be late to that party, it's been around for, what, like 3,000 years? i've always been interested in listening about that kind of thing, but never really done it on purpose. I have a period of loving history. And i've started to miss the feeling of falling in love with a piece of land and a time period and digging up everything you can find. Only last time it was a pretty niche topic, i could easily give a cultural history tour of my hometown now, but i highly doubt you, dear readers, would ever get around to that place... but i genuinely love this stuff.
But as for greek mythology, o boy, this stuff is so vast. My head is exploding. The last time i felt something like this was when i had a german class at school one day, then i went to talk in english with my discord friends, and in the evening i thought “ooo it would be cool to see how letter combinations are read in french!”. long story short, i couldnt sleep that night because of random words in 4 languages popping into my head. (i still dont know french or german by the way, which is sad)
Another problem is that I want to draw something on this topic, but since this thing is very old, there are designs here, but there are thousands of them, which means they are not there. And my brain activity is not enough to digest the volume of text, stories and heroes AND create something based on cultural experience, exhibits from the museum and my own imagination.
In short, everything is complicated, I hope that I will survive the session and not blow my brains out along the way.
