I really enjoy the idea of Hizashi spending his time at jobs outside of school; think that really coincides with, as you mentioned, his workaholic tendencies and innate need to keep himself busy. Money-wise, I don't often imagine him well-off (comfort-wise) and I do think the concept of Hizashi jumping into work as soon as it's legally possible (maybe even under-the-table jobs if he's impatient?) is real neat. Love the headcanons and art, bt dubs.
