Is this like when you know your friend is going to react badly to something so you only tell them after the fact? Or you literally don't care enough to tell them because you had a falling out? Apart from the whole J2 drama, there is no way this is going to be watchable, right? I'm trying to think of ways this would be an interesting show and I'm coming up short. Is it even going to get picked up anywhere? It'd clearly only be interesting to fans and fans are not interested.

I'd be weird even if they weren't friends, it's something completely else from your 'best friend'. If it weren't, you wouldn't be scrambling for new conspiracy theories right now to explain why it's okay. Just imagine these were people you had no prior feelings about whatsoever, what would you think then? If your thought process really is: "It's Jared fault I didn't get the show I wanted, and he destroyed my happiness, so I'm glad if he's feeling bad" that's just a tad too psychotic.
