They say justice is blind, but lucky for him, he saw everything. The busy cafe didn't hide much, not from him anyway. Seated comfortably in the corner, laptop open beside his coffee, Ren watched the room with sharp, observant eyes. Behind his glasses, his mind was already working, noticing details others easily missed.
He spotted a familiar face walking over with a tray and gestured them to sit, just as he ended his call. "Yeah, I'll be there as soon as I'm finished here. Bye." He placed his phone down and looked up with a calm smile. "Hey, how are you doing? Don't worry, that seat's not taken." He said as he took a sip of his coffee. "Did you go to the Coachella thing? Mary had the rest of the afternoon off and hearing about how Tony was in town, she decided to put all the gossip blogs to rest and just let it all go. Changing clothes as she got home, noticing how no one was home, Ryker was probably at the gym or working, so she had called him, letting him know, before someone telling him she was seen with her ex strolling. Putting on a simple pair of jeans, top and jacket, she did something she normally didn't do though. Mary was taking out her car to drive out of the city.
Sending Tony a text to meet her downstairs where he was staying, she drove off from her house and waited at his door.

Walking out of his house, he got into her car and smiled at her. "About damn time." He teased her.
