"I have a love/hate relationship with all the promos I get to do for all my upcoming projects, but I am so tired right now, I just want to sleep for a week." @ggstarterblog
"Well maybe you won't take so many jobs back to back so you won't be as busy." She joked and looked at Tony.
"Okay, so you're telling me that in a world where dopplegangers, vampires, people who can manipulate shadows, people who can ride dragons, and all the other bullshit we know to be true here in Manhattan, is acceptable to you? But already thinking that the Yankees will have a good season this year is crazy?" @ggstarterblog
"Yes, yes I am." Jackie said with a laugh. "Come on Elijah, you and I both know that their good seasons are a fluke, I mean, better than the Red Sox but still."
"Mhm, mhm, hold that thought." Marilyn held her finger up and picked up her glass of wine, quickly finishing the contents, she cleared her throat and asked, "What are you bitching about?" @ggstarterblog
"Our dear mother." Jackie said with a laugh and looked at her sister. "Have you talked to her lately? She's back off the deep end, Mar."
"We should! The older movies were just...better and I don't really mean that in a bad way, but they just feel more timeless and classic."
"No,, I very much get what you're saying." Jackie promised with a smile. "There's just something more..aesthetically pleasing about them, you know?"

"I feel like we're not making a big enough deal that we're getting The Devil Wears Prada 2 and Practical Magic 2 this year." @ggstarterblog
"Ugh I am so damn excited for both of those movies." Jackie said with a smile. "We need to bring back all the old films."
Hanna gave her an understanding look. “Moms in a mood can shift the entire atmosphere of a house,” she said gently. “Sometimes stepping outside is the healthiest move you can make.” She wrapped both hands around her coffee, relaxed. “I am just taking a breather from something dull,” Hanna added. “Nothing dramatic, just reclaiming a little peace. What does enjoying your day look like now that you are free?”
"A breather from something dull?" She raised a brow. "Is it a date, if it's a date, you can always make it more interesting." She said with a smile. "I am going to go to Central Park, maybe play tourist and just be obnoxious."

"If this goes wrong, I am so fucked." Jackie said to herself as she walked into Dumbo Hall. Exhaling, she made a beeline for the bar. She had to this or else...well she wasn't actually sure what would happen, but she didn't want to find out. When she got up to the bar, she ordered a Marrow Martini and thanked the bartender when they placed the overpriced drink in front of her. Taking a sip, she made a face and shook her head. "This is disgusting. I hate that bitch." She whispered and then pulled out her phone.
She looked around the private club as she opened up Tik Tok and clicked on the "Live" option. "Hey everyone! It's me, your favorite Sinclair, Jackie! I'm here at Dumbo Hall and I am enjoying a very tasty Marrow Martini!" She held up the drink with her free hand and she looked around the crowd and then back at her phone. "Now, come with me as I go tell someone something fun." She gave the camera a fake smile and got up. She walked up to someone that looked like they were important.
She didn't care who she was going up to, or if they were human or not. She just had to get this done and it'd be over. She could go home and make herself a good tasting drink. Once she walked up to the person, she waited until they were alone, before she whispered, "I know what you did. I'm not judging, just deciding if should keep it a secret or not." Once she finished the sentence, she walked away, paid for er drink and ended the live and then left Dumbo Hall.
@ggblasts
Jackie Sinclair, the youngest of the Sinclair siblings and the least interesting. How does that make you feel?
I don't know, feel like I'm pretty interesting since you've messaged me.

"Of course." Cassian nodded. "Real men don't do that to women and he wasn't a real man." He shook his head. "How are you feeling though? I know that's a lot to go through."
"He's not the first piecce of shit I've had the misfourtane of meeting in Manhattan, nor will be the last." She looked at Cassian. "I'm fine, sadly shitty men is what I attract."
Hanna laughed softly and shook her head. “That is thoughtful of you, but no emergency extraction required,” she said. “Anyone I am avoiding can survive a little disappointment.” She glanced around the café, then back at Jackie. “If anything, I am enjoying not having to be anywhere for once,” Hanna added. “What about you though, you avoiding or just enjoying your day?”
"The only person I'm avoiding is my mom. She's in one of her moods again." Jackie shrugged. "Now that I'm out of the house though, I am very much enjoying my day. How about you?"
Hanna sat perched on the edge of a café table she definitely did not order from, sunglasses pushed into her hair and phone abandoned face down like she was daring it to interrupt her. She scanned the street with lazy confidence, lips curved in a half smile that suggested she already knew something everyone else did not.
She glanced up at whoever happened to be nearby. “Okay, be honest,” she said casually. “Do I look like I am waiting for someone important, or like I just escaped a meeting I had no intention of attending?” @ggstarterblog
"Kind of a mix of both if I'm being honest." Jackie looked at Hanna. "Do I need to get you out of here before someone you want to avoid shows up?"
“Thank you,” she says with a small, appreciative smile. “And that’s reassuring. I was starting to think the sidewalk was holding a grudge.” She glances down at the covers, then back up at Jackie. “Something like that,” she admits. “I tend to carry books around even when I don’t have a specific destination. I’m Rory. It’s nice to meet you.”
She hesitates, then adds, curiosity soft but genuine. “Are you into books too, or did I just accidentally advertise my entire personality?”
"I'm Jackie, it's nice to meet you too, Rory." Jackie smiled at her and laughed. "I am into books, yeah, but right now, the majorty of my time reading is spent on stuff for classes, and not for fun."
Cassian had picked the spot deliberately — a quiet stretch of Central Park where the city noise dulled into something softer, almost distant. The sun had already dipped below the skyline, leaving the paths washed in amber streetlight and long shadows that clung to the trees. He stood with his hands in his jacket pockets, shoulders relaxed in a way that suggested ease, not peace.
“Y’know,” he said finally, voice low, carrying just enough to reach whoever was approaching, “most people think the city sleeps when it gets dark. Like the danger clocks out, packs it up, calls it a night.” A faint smirk tugged at his mouth as he tilted his head, eyes flicking toward the movement nearby. “It doesn’t. It just gets quieter. More honest.”
He exhaled slowly, breath fogging in the cool air. “So if you asked me to meet you out here after sunset, either you trust me… or you’re about to ask for something that doesn’t come cheap.” His gaze sharpened, not hostile, just assessing — the look of someone who’d learned long ago how to read a situation before it read him.
Cassian shifted his weight, boots crunching softly against the path. “Either way,” he added, calm and steady, “you’re here now. So go on. Tell me what you really wanted to talk about.” @ggstarterblog
Jackie looked at Cassian and exhaled. "I don't really know." She admitted. "I do wnat to thank you though, for the other night at Dumbo Hall. That shithead would not leave me alone until you stepped in and I really appreciate it."

Phone in her right hand and a takeaway coffee in the other, her favorite book tucked securely against her arm, Rory walks through the streets of Manhattan, letting the good weather do most of the comforting. She checks her email as she goes, already braced for disappointment. The inbox is crowded with polite rejections and careful phrasing, each one insisting it “wasn’t the right fit.” Still, she keeps scrolling. She always does.
And then, one subject line pauses her step. Not a yes, but not a no either. Another interview. A small, stubborn bright spot added to her calendar. Rory exhales, lifts her coffee in a quiet toast, and keeps walking. She opens her favorite book Pride and Prejudice, slipping easily into its familiar rhythm until the world around her fades.
She doesn’t see the person in front of her until she collides with them. “Sorry…” Rory blurts out as the book slips from her grasp and lands at their feet. Her cheeks warm as she tightens her grip on her cup. “I’ll try to pay attention next time. I just… tend to get lost in books. And deadlines. Mostly books.”
@ggstarterblog
Jackie had just finished sending a text when Rory ran into her and she looked at the other person. "I promise you, it's okay." She said with a smile and put her phone back into her purse. "I also was not paying attention, so you're not all to blame." She promised and bent down to help her pick up her books.
"Going to the library or something?" She asked and handed them back to her. "I'm Jackie, by the way."
