🩶welcome to my blog!! now, here’s a little about me🩶:

long post but stay with me. it’s hard for me to put my thoughts into words with this new album. it’s nostalgic, but also has this whole new feel. the whole album is amazing, has no skips. it’s SO GOOD. with that being said i always had a feeling that Sleeping With Sirens were a Christian metal band without trying to solely be that. in their early albums, like with eyes to hear and ears to see, Kellin wrote the bomb dot com 2.0 about how to live his life how the Bible teaches and his struggles with that. or with the song feel, or four corners and two sides, they have always had an underlying Christian meaning whether you want to admit it or not. being a Christian myself, it’s always been hard for me to feel like i belong in the fanbase, or find people within the fanbase that saw Sleeping With Sirens how i did. i’ve been a fan of this band since i was 14, now years later being 28, wanting to find friends within the fanbase isn’t really a want anymore. i’ve never wavered from feeling like they have always been in some ways a Christian metal band. this album they just released?? proves my point even further. and it makes me so emotional thinking about where they came from, the different band member changes, to going from rise records epitaph, warner bros. and sumerian, then going back to rise records, to where they are now. when i heard their new album i felt like Kellin is so confident with his relationship with God now, and there’s no need to have underlying meanings to the lyrics, he tells it point blank period and i freaking love that so much. it’s something that the new fans coming up need to hear. this album hits home for me and has a special place in my heart. i can’t wait to see where they go from here, and i hope to see them live one day. ❤️
