so a few reasons for why things have been so hard: i got a surgery at the start of june that had me unable to do anything for a while while i recovered; i applied for benefits so i can cover rent & groceries while i was recovering; my file had taken a very long time to process; i phoned in to see where they were in the process to find out they are closing my file; and upon my visit today i found out i am ineligible at this time, but was told to reapply end of july.

so, i'm needing some help getting groceries for my girlfriend and i. while we're going through this, our fridge also broke down, and isn't cooling anything, so options on what we can make are limited, but we're trying what we can to keep costs down (cooking same day of, making use of freezer instead, etc.)
