You know, lesbians are still lesbians whether or not you call us names. 

But this so perfectly illustrates the fact that they don’t get how sexualities work, if they think it’s just something you call yourself.

i get how sexuality works fine. what i’m saying is that terfs should find a label that’s specific to their particular brand of “lesbian” bc trans and nb lesbians deserve a community they feel safe in, and a label they can feel comfortable in without having it be attached to so much hatred. “lesbian” is a term that means you love women exclusively and wholly, and when you dismiss and invalidate trans women you’re no longer welcome in the community formed around it.

“Brand of lesbian” meaning what exactly? Homosexual? Yeah fuck all the way off. I’ll continue to “dismiss” transwomen because I can’t choose my sexuality and I don’t exist to validate male’s girly feels. Homosexuality isn’t going to change for you or anyone else.
