Just because we fight one type of sexism doesn’t mean we don’t care about other instances of sexism that don’t affect us directly in our day to day lives.

My heart goes out to this woman and the hundreds of other victims like her. I want to educate people about these kinds of incidents. I support organizations that help women like this.

You may think that dress code issues are trivial, but they are related to a larger issue of women’s bodily autonomy, which affects women’s health and safety.

“This is how men could be treating you, be grateful it’s only as bad as it is now.”

And that’s actually an attribute of abusers, I believe I read somewhere. To compare you to someone being treated worse and tell you you should be grateful you have it so good. It convinces the victim they should be silent in the face of their abuse.

It’s literally an abuse tactic. 

Yeah. im the same, where i lose interest if i learn that a woman is attracted to men in any way. partially because bi women are usually, yknow, homophobic, but also because it’s just nice to be in a relationship with someone who experiences the world the same way as you and who knows what its like to be the only homosexual in a room of ~queers n gays~. also the way that osa women look and carry themselves is just so different. but idk if i could even articulate the difference because it’s not a deliberate thing where i like, analyze someone’s behavior and go oh that was so heterosexual of them, it’s just an instinctual thing. (i’m talking about like, posture and clothing, not about straight actresses lukewarmly pressing their lips against each others bc that is Definite Heterosexual Behavior lol)

also the rawing thing 💀 i literally don’t understand what compels people to make extremely sexual comments about complete strangers. especially strangers who don’t even give off pussy eating energy?? and the thing is that all these people attach themselves to the same female celebrities and the same language. like you never see any of them talking about, idk, making sweet love to samira wiley, it’s always wanting to get rawed or stepped on or strapped down by gillian anderson or cate blanchett. like it’s so obvious that they’re all just parroting each other and sweating at their computers like im a real lesbian now, right? i’m a real wlw? i said i want a milf to step on me???
