i can’t even describe how canon it is to me that tex has short hair after PFL… like. GIVE her an emotional shaving-head-in-the-mirror moment after she learns what she is… and she’d keep it short after that too, both to honor the new identity she’s carving out for herself and because short hair is just easier to deal with.

20 minutes into s7 rewatch and i have already written about how much i love Caboose in my notes three times. taking bets now on how many times i will have said it by the end of the season!

on one hand, i appreciate that Wash took his time to systematically determine that Church was the Alpha using all of the accumulated evidence but, on the other hand, he must have known it immediately on the basis of “damn, this guy looks and sounds exactly like the guy who FUCKING KILLED HIMSELF IN MY HEAD”

rewatching s6 and realizing that it’s the sacrificial crisis. Okay.

Church being legitimately devastated by Caboose’s deaths in the s5 timeloops is such excellent characterization. In the loops where he watches Caboose die, he loses all sense of the situation at hand (which is that they are being actively shot at), he sounds like he is going to CRY.

funniest thing that has ever happened to me at work is that my boss and I were driving around our park and one of our caterers spotted us, ran towards us at full speed, literally jumped a hedge to get to us, could not even speak by the time she arrived at our van because she was so out of breath, and the first thing that came out of her mouth when she could finally talk again was “DO YOU GUYS KNOW SARGE?”
