maybe I'm just too much of a photo nerd but my favorite part about this post of travis' is that these photos have the same colour grading (filter) that Taylor normally uses for her birthday photos (and on other important occasions). might even be an analog camera with the same film loaded but anyways they have *matching colour grading on their instagram posts* and it's the cutest

#i was about to say that I think it actually might be a film camera #cause it does have the analog feel too it #*however*#most of the photos with this colour are taken in quite dark places which would require a film with high ISO #which would lead to a lot of grain which these don't have #so on closer inspection my conclusion is that they are all digital photos but with the same filter added to it which makes it even cuter #because it's a lot more intentional on his part #taylor swift #travis kelce

my photographer hot take is that I couldn't care less about composition. if I see one more shot that someone has slapped the golden spiral on in a random way I'm gonna cry. and I'm so tired of all these leading lines, it's so unoriginal at this point and it's almost always on a photo that is so over-edited and stylized. I've yet to see a photo used to prove the importance of composition that actually looks interesting cause there is absolutely no emotion behind them and most of the time they look borderline ai-generated

the correct way to do photography is to spend hundreds on a good digital camera and then a couple of more hundreds on a good lens and then finally another hundred on an editing software so you can look make your digital high resolution raw photos look like shitty film frames
