updated my black clover fic last night, been working on this chapter for almost a month.
I’ve been working on these characters for such a long time and started this almost a year ago. When I first started this part two fic of gauche and grey I always had an idea of what it would look like but I really wanted to take the time to let these characters grow up within the fic instead of being like “okay part two. gauche and greys children and they are suddenly teenagers”
I wrote them as babies, toddlers, and now they are about 12 which feels so rewarding to finally be able to write them with like more personality and more interesting dialogue that really shows their individualism
anyways. I wish I could draw! I try to describe what they look like but I really wish I could draw so I could actually see them

i know a fanfiction is marvellous-perfect-divine for me when i see my cute little couple just…chatting and joking naturally. i feel like not many authors know the characters so well to let them just talk over anything and everything. i find that so sweet and entertaining, when the dialogues are not just important for the plot or flirting. like, whenever the couple i’m reading about is out on a date, and the fics reads “the talked and laughed so much and the evening went well” i feel so disappointed.
