He definitely believes it happened, but what confuses him are the physical and emotional reactions to this d3rLord3 guy. He doesn’t even remember this person, yet his subconscious responses to d3rLord’s actions are so visceral that Avery can’t help but wonder who Derek was to him, because they looked like strangers but it doesn’t feel that way
