And of course the charade of the #berniebots squad continues. Hillary won the democratic nomination fair and square. Thirteen committed superdelegates were interviewed (interviewing superdelegates to confirm their commitment to a candidate has always been used in elections), and all 13 of them reconfirmed that they will in fact be supporting Secretary Clinton in the November election. Their commitment brought her to the magic number she needed to clinch the nomination. It is not rigged. She won fair and square. No, your vote is not being suppressed. Democrats and Republicans alike are still gonna be headed to the voting booths tomorrow. Republicans continued to vote even after Trump got the nomination and Democrats will continue to vote even though Hillary has gotten the nomination. There is more on the ballot than just the presidential position. Senators, representatives, attorney generals, etc are on the ballot too and need our votes. We need to keep the White House and the Senate blue this fall if we want to continue seeing all this radical change that serves the needs and wants of the various diverse groups of people in this country. Bernie supporters need to realize the seriousness of this election. Just because your candidate did not win does not mean that we’re “doomed”. We’re only doomed if you decide to throw a fit by staying home in November, or by not voting for Hillary. She is our only chance at securing a stable future for these next four years and we need to get behind her and show the world that we will not tolerate the bigotry of Trump.
