It will have existed so long that people are just used to women being in powerful positions. There is also that demons are metaphysical beings, they can exist as either gender, neither, or even take both at once, some are simply choosing to be male and the cross dressing in the dame event was probably for a running gag because Lucifer probably refused to change his gender and just threw on a dress because Princess Rose disliked Demon men, but ignoring that, There's also the thing with violence amongst demons. a little girl in the human realm would get charged as an adult life in prison for killing her assaulter in self defence (real story btw) and a demon woman was raised to literally just kill them, take the man home and sell his organs, chop his hands off, literally just have fun killing him slowly if he so much as tries to lay an unwanted hand on them. The violence keeps men away and not touching a woman increases their chances of survival, the same way men stopped mysteriously dying when no-fault divorce was introduced. Women also create life and with small numbers it is good to prioritise optimal conditions for them to do that so there's cures for a lot of female health issues. And demons really did have to focus on survival when the angels were slaughtering them all in wars. I will say higher demon men could treat lower demon women poorly but that's less to do with being a woman than a giant class divide since they'll treat men the same, some of the brothers choked lower succubi (not necessarily female) in the Devilgram In Search of A Smile. If a high demon did assault a low demon sexually, it is a career ending offence to do that and the punishment is left to the victim and carried out by Barbatos.
