The best part of this is Denji’s not being in kanji bc he’s illiterate

Likewise, it’s why “Lucy” does little to react to or plan around the fact that others have found her vulnerable resting place, she’s driven like a mindless zombie that can occasionally remember and spit out the original’s words if need be. More akin to a parasitic presence that has taken over and impersonated the original, like The Thing. Keeping them in stasis in an undead state, pass the point of no return for physical death, but stopped before one’s spirit can actually move on.

I’ve always loved the imagery in the ‘sleeping with the fishes’ scene - so glad ppl are giving this film the love it deserves!
