Daichi also notes how he hasn't had many girlfriends, despite the fact he's had plenty of opportunities. The girlfriends he has had don't last very long and he seems to not care very much about his breakups. At first I thought this was because he was just gay, i mean i still think this is a little true, but i also think it can be explained by signs of csa. Victims of csa have difficulties with intimacy, keeping relationships, and expressing emotions; all of which he is seen to struggle with and could be very obvious reasons his girlfriends keep breaking up with him. Daichi has a excessively idealistic view of him, he constantly describes Seiji as better then him in every way. He describes Seijis family and childhood as perfect compared to his, to the point it seems intentionally "Seiji isn't all Daichi cuts him out to be." It would make sense if Seiji had issues of his own which are extremely similar to Daichis, even if he wants to believe those things could never happen to Seiji. Him being sexually abused by his family as a child would explain why his torture is sexual in the game, why he's able to deal with/volunteer to do it so easily, and why his childhood and familial issues are hidden from his bestfriend.
