weirdest part of this whole phenomenon is seeing actors/directors/musicians etc. (rightfully) get fired and blacklisted instantly after one (1) rape allegation but then like johnny depp’s face is still on billboards and woody allen’s productions haven’t been canceled and all these people who signed the petition to free roman polanski are like, “thank god harvey weinstein is off the streets… now we can all rest easy…”

If I recall, they did used to be the corresponding months.  It was just when Roman leaders Julius Caesar and Augustus came into power, the months July(Julius) and August(Augustus) were added, thus throwing off the numbering of the calender.

Good news, though: whoever fucked it up did in fact get stabbed.
