My feminism is all intersectional, leftist-fem (not terf, nor popfem). My bi-activism is supportive of bi’s regardless of dating status- y’all are valid when you’re with a woman, man, enby, or all bi yourself (single and awesome <3)

Primarily this for those in bi/lesbian relationships, or in support of bi/lesbian ships. With the secondary meaning of solidarity between sapphics.

I expanded the centre stripe of the lesbian flag to match the bi one, the colours were derived from both flags using layers with different blend modes & opacities levels. The heart was is inspired by a les4les flag but its colour was specifically chosen to be the pink from the sapphic flag.

”bisexual” is a label that shifts with me, and has done for nearly 25 years now. a lot of people have journeys that involve them picking up and putting down different ways of describing their sexuality over their lifetime with varying degrees of difficulty. but even though i am pretty sure the love of my life is gonna be a dyke of some flavor just like my first love was a dyke, i will still be bisexual because i prefer to define my attraction to be based around the expansiveness of how i love, not who i am currently with. “bisexual” includes my history as well as my present. it includes every gender identity my partner could possibly be in the future. please don’t treat it like a loss to be bi. or at least, to be more flexible in your orientation.

i understand the need for protectiveness in marginalized communities. “gatekeeping” is not inherently a bad thing. but at least part of the loss that people are feeling when they ask themselves whether they can accurately describe themselves as a “lesbian” anymore is preventable by reducing the stigma around being bi or pan or generally queer, and by not uprooting them from networks of comradery and support.

Just out of curiosity, why do you consider yourself bi instead of pan if you like people regardless of gender (as opposed to multiple genders with influence from gender or presentation)?

Attraction regardless of gender is the definition of bisexuality too. Bisexuality has always had that definition from the beginning. Bisexuality and pansexuality share that definition. Also not all bisexuals see gender. There are many bi people who experience attraction where gender or presentation doesn't matter to them.

hold on, on your post from three days ago, why was the word ,,dyke" used for a bisexual woman? i'm not criticizing here, i'm just curious, i don't know everything about lgbt history, but i thought it was a lesbian-only word. love your art, btw

This topic has lots of overlap with arguments about the exclusivity or inclusivity of the terms “butch” and “femme”, so if you’d like to read more on that here’s this link which may be a good starting point.

'Percy Jackson should realistically be a poc and Pjo fans of color are allowed to take him as one through death of the author,especially since the actual author approves of depictions of Percy as nonwhite' and 'Disregarding the multiple canonized poc by the Pjo show is actual whitewashing while the casting for Percy in it is a non-issue,especially since the Percy in the show is the only adaption accurate to Percy in the books so far and in some ways better written too' are two ideas that can,should and do co-exist

Likewise,so are 'a lot of ~Percy of color~ content mischaracterized Percy so he'd fit into negative stereotypes of the races/heritages he was a part of rather than positive and inside joke ones he's applicable to canonically and ones he full-on defies and he was also made incredibly obsessed with white men who treat him,women and other poc poorly while disregarding and even hating the minorities in question' and 'the live action series is actively conscious Percy's a white boy surrounded by poc of different genders and puts a lot of tact into it and how he interacts with them and their shared worlds so he'll be a good protagonist and encourage and normalize white kids standing up for and by their friends of color,which is an incredibly important thing to teach neurodivergent children since one of the most common traumas for nd kids of color is shitty white nd kids pretending to be their friends but treating them in ableist and other toxic ways and playing the victim when/if they put their foot down on it'
