The Scene™ was the game showing just how much control the player, as a god of this world, has over the characters. With one word, we are able to keep Kris and Noelle from drowning. Once they start to fade, one little Proceed knocks them back to consciousness like an electric shock and forces them to take one step further. They can't breathe, they can't see, they don't know where they are underwater, it's a scene of wild, crazed panic. But against all of their natural instincts screaming at them that this is wrong, that they are dying, all they need to do is listen. All they need to do is Proceed. And everything will work out.
