“No no that is quite alright Sir Mikleo, I was just worried about you, for you have been staring into space for Quite a long time now.” She walked by his side and looked where he was gesturing. Alish herself grew curious , they only way to know honestly was to approach it forth with and so. that is what the princess did.
She moved around observing the artifact, Color size , markings feeling curious she reached into the bag she brought with her and opened up the hero’s book, the legend left by her kingdom, looking at the the Artifact and flipping though the pages of the book, Alisha soon broke the mini silence with a questionable answer.
“Here we go, I found it, .. so It seems long before humans and Seraphim were deemed dangerous to one another, The hylanders and the Asgardian created a truce?”
“The Asguardians were the founders as highlanders where still growing at the time, one day though, the Asgardians gave a peace offering created by them to the hylanders and made them sign the artifact with their crest as a act of truce between one another. “
“Though Lohrein had grown prosperous and the treaty was null and void, But when They soon fell to the ground, the highlanders picked back up, Though at this point Asgardians were long from being in power anymore, so the highlander left the artifact where no one but the rumored hero could find in , as a Symbol of change and hope. “
Alisha closed the book and looked at Mikleo. “So it’s both… the Asgards, made it however the highlanders signed it, this would explain why Sorey found it first…My people did various strange things, and they have strange ways, however we’ve always had a nack of telling the future , Though strange that is out here in the middle of nowhere, Why would they place it out here?”
mikleo listened closely as alisha read from her book, & he thought about it for awhile after she finished talking to make sure he processed it clearly. he supposed that did make sense, & that only meant that both him & sorey were right. he would accept that, considering it was still technically another win for him, even if sorey had also won as well.
“ thank you, alisha— that really helped, ” he said, sighing in relief. it had been very frustrating to not be certain on when & where the artifact had been derived from. “ it’s a rare occurrence for both sorey & i to be correct at the same time— i think that’s pretty interesting, & that makes this an even cooler discovery. i’ll tell sorey as soon as i see him ! ”
after that, alisha’s question rang in his mind. it was definitely something to think about. it didn’t quite make sense to him either that they would put such an artifact out in the middle of nowhere. it was the symbol of a treaty they had made in the past, & although it hadn’t even been able to last for a very long time, mikleo still considered it to be an important part of history, so why would the hylanders place the artifact in an area where it wasn’t necessarily easy to find ?
“ it almost makes me think that they were hiding something & that there’s more to this whole story than has been recorded... ” mikleo mumbled, clearly in deep thought about this speculation as he placed his hand on his thin & continued to stare at the artifact as if looking at it longer would aid him in figuring out what other secrets were hidden about it. one of his favorite things about discovering items like this from the past was debating on why the humans had done things in that fashion.
