#I'm typically referred to by the first syllable of my name #which sounds like the letter M #it was actually so constant that my younger cousin thought my name was M #no one told her that it was Em #I felt kinda bad #but also it hurt that no one calls me by my full name #aka my preferred name #everyone just calls me by the nickname that is shared with my dead name #which was on purpose back when I was still in the closet #but it still kinda sucks.

Popcorn themed pokemon!

The main theme is cat textured like popcorn

It's starter form is Cubbel (a mixture of cub and kernal). It is a grass type pokemon because corn is a type of grass, and it's go the texture and color of an unpopped kernel. the huge head is deliberately shaped like a kernal.

Then comes it's evolution, Liopop! Which is a full lion (as of this iteration). I recognize that this just looks like a lion, I have to redo the color of the mane and face. If I were a better artist, my vision would have the mane and head would look a lot more like the unpopped center of the kernal with the mane acting like a collar. will be revisiting the coloring later. At this stage it's gets an additional type as fire as well as grass because pop! Or! it could get the water type, as the reason popcorn pops is due to the moisture inside creating pressure on the skin of the kernel.

It was a vaguely DBH au rosquez fic where Vale was a technician and Marc was an android.

Marc was badly damaged but had the ability to turn himself back on automatically. Mature themes, not completely explicit and I don't think there was any actual smut but it was heavily mimicked via whatever repair Vale was trying to do.

I'd read a couple fics (or at least I think it was a couple and not just one I've reread) involving the NHL Lockout of 2012-2013 with Ovechkin/Backstrom as the main pairing and though that Backy going to Russia with Ovi was a fic plot

Googled the NHL Lockout for some more context and learned that it was real!? Guess the fics do write themselves lol
