Okay so my immediate answer was just "none of these guys would ever bottom lmao" because 1) they're presumably all straight men that are not into pegging, and then on top of that 2) they're all insane control freaks lol

BUT to give a little leeway and have some fun.... I'm willing to believe in headcanon world that Jorge Martin never tops. He lowkey has bratty pillow princess vibes, especially with Aleix........ and I genuinely can't think of anymore riders I couldn't make a compelling switch argument for LMAO sorry, also I'm just someone who likes writing switches, or like unconventional dynamics in general

I know it's a rarepair with two riders that are not toooooo popular on their own, but they're really good! Diggia is so complimenting of Ai at basically every chance, which is a fun contrast to how he's shit talked almost every single one of his teammates at this point lmao. The difference in Diggia being like "Ai is an incredible talent! 🔥☀️🥳👍" after Ai overtook him in cota v.s his (very mild) beef he started with Pedro after looking back at him on an overtake LOL

Okay tbh the worst takes I've seen have been exclusively on twitter (flashback to when people were saying pecco "admitted" that the academy talks shit about marc???) so I don't really have one...? I mean there was the #schism, but that kinda flew over my head when it happened. Oh, actually maybe when mandalika '25 happened and some people were saying Bez purposefully crashed into Marc to injure him or that Valentino told him to. Like what?? Bez literally got knocked unconscious during that crash at one of the most dangerous circuits on the track, why would he do that to himself lmao

Baby AUs often piss me off just because most of the time they end up denominating gender roles onto the guys that completely disregard their actual personalities. Actually, in general how the dynamics of some ships are treated annoys me because they're often rooted in sexism. The amount of times I've seen Marc designated as like, the "housewife" or "trophy wife" to Valentino is ridiculous

(not to say that you can't call him a trophy wife in a lighthearted way, but like the amount of fics/fanart that depict him in this sweet fawning submissive way is kinda gross. I mean, write what you want but I always side-eye it as being so...... reductive in a specifically sexist way. like why are we still so determined to assign "male v.s female roles" to yaoi ships in 2026)

25. Common fandom complaint that you're sick of hearing

Hm.... I suppose that the current grid is like, under-leveled or worse than the previous generations? Or specifically that this is a bad thing, because I do acknowledge that it's probably true. Idk, I think it's also that I'm not someone who likes when one or two riders completely dominate the field by like half a minute. It's boring to me as I've always preferred a variety of winners and podium-finishers, plus it means the TV direction will always end up focusing on like 2 people for the whole race and neglect the rest of the grid.
