I think it might actually just be a trackhouse thing? as Raul has a similar placement going on with his logo (the stylized RF, which I had thought was a sponsor before lol)

On their previous liveries (both the blue and gulf ones), they used to have "trackhouse" on their asses, but now that's been replaced by their title sponsor

Comparing it to the other teams, factory Aprilia has their team's name up on the hump while factory Ducati and Honda have their title sponsors

And for the satellites, Gresini has their manufacturer while Pramac and VR46 have their title sponsors

So the trackhouse situation is probably something enforced by the team? and either their riders don't care since their logo can still be clearly visible on the hump, or they just don't have the power/influence to argue against it lol

Strangely also I think this was just a thing as of 2025? as the limited photos I can find of their 2024 leathers, it seems like they had their team name on the hump and rider logos on the asses
