marathon is genuinely really good. like I get why some people might not like, extraction shooters are a very oversaturated genre rn, and as a former destiny player I get why people are upset that d2 isn t gonna be getting anymore major support. HOWEVER . marathon feels *really* good to play and as far as extraction shooters go I think its a really nice balance between the mote friendly gameplay of something like arc raider and the much more hostile tarkov. its loot distribution feels nice, a player who doesn t just sit around and only play the one game can make real progress even solo, and the world building and setting are just so interesting. I really hope this game actually sticks around and survives for a good few years. more people should give it a a real try!!! the original playtest they did like a year before launch is very much not indicative of the game as it exists right now and I think a lot of people saw that and decided the game was dead on arrival but its very much not. if you re considering giving it a try I highly recommend it

can t wait to paint my nails really quick before work and then have them get messed up within 5 minutes at the register

crazy how I can get out of bed early and still not have any time to do anything before work
