Give me the ball. The Raid 2: Berandal (2014) dir. Gareth Evans
I knew I was wrong. But in my head, I thought I was wrong for the right reasons, y'know? There are different kinds of wrong.
one time i went through the taco bell drive thru and when i tried to order a baja blast i said “mountain boo bah” and then i just left. couldn’t recover
a friend of mine once went to order a beefy bean and cheese burrito but ordered a “beedo beedo” instead and i think of it every time i go to taco bell
Bro was THIS close to calling air bud a slur

Members of the Owls, a black women’s softball team in the 1930s

“The Owls Club was a Black women’s softball team formed [in] the late 1930s in Seattle. The Owls won the first women’s Washington State Softball Championship in 1938, playing at Sick’s Stadium, today the site of Rainier Avenue Lowe’s. The team, renamed the Brown Bombers, won the championship again in 1939. Left-handed Owls’ pitcher Lillian Brown struck out twelve batters on the Manette team in the final championship game at Civic Field, the site of the current Memorial Stadium. Here, four players from the Owls Club, in team uniforms, pose together on the front of a car.”
More pictures of the Owls can be found here in the digital collections of the Museum of History and Industry. More pictures from the Al Smith Collection, documenting Seattle’s Black community in the mid 20th century, can be found here.
