Okay 1st off sorry I took a while to get something out to you my creative spark kinda just went POOF! But now it back :D

So anyone up for Blitzstone cooking headcanons??? x3

so ye here ya go anon!!!!

Okay my fav headcanon i have is the only person that can cook out of Blitz, Magnus, Hearth, Alex, and Sam is Hearth

Okay just let my smol elf cook brownies

Hearth loves to cook

Its like his guilty pleasure or something idk

But nobody rlly knows he can cook cuz whenever ppl come over they always just order chinese food or falafel or something idk

So nobody knows that Hearth could probably win master chef

So Hearth is a stress baker

Like y’know how everyone kinda has something that helps them calm down when they rlly stressed? Ye baking helps Hearth

So idk why he starts baking one day maybe bc just everything that happening in their life is just becoming too much for him (or he falling in love with a certain dwarf *wink* *wink*)

So ye Hearth just suddenly starts baking everything

Like literally everything

He makin cookies, bread, cinnamon rolls, brownies, cake, everything

It smells like a bakery and is just amazing

Also, Hearth rlly likes chocolate and eats the whole pan of brownies by himself (just let my smol son eat his brownies in peace)

But the thing is that nobody knows that Hearth is baking bc they’re all at Hotel Valhalla planning what they should do next and Hearth is at Blitz’s flat

But nobody knows like they’re like “where the Hel is Hearth like wtw”

And then they decide maybe he’s still at the flat or something

So picture this: Blitz, Magnus, Alex, and Sam walk into the flat and they smell CHOCOLATE

Alex’s mouth waters

So they walk into the kitchen

And Hearth is cooking cupcakes with a brownie in his mouth and there are trays of chocolate chip cookies on the stove and half a tray of brownies on the counter and flour everywhere

Like literally everywhere

like it;s on his shirt and in his hair and on his cheeks just frickin EVERYWHERE

And everyone’s jaw drops

Heath turns around to see them and literally jumps a foot in the air

He drops his cookies

lol and Alex, who has her priorities straight goes “NOOOOO THE COOKIESSSSSS”

Hearth manages a weak laugh, then signs “Ummm… cookies?”

They each take a cookie

FRICK THEY’RE SO DELICIOUS OH MY GODS WHAT THE FREAK HEARTH U HAD A SECRET COOKIE TALENT AND U DIDN’T TELL US?????? WTW WHY

Long story short Alex and Magnus eat roughly 25 cookies each and then end up super hyper on sugar

“Hearth these are amazing. Why don’t you cook more often?” Blitz signs.

“I didn’t think you’d like it”

“I love it. But let’s stop giving Magnus and Alex cookies”

blitz & hearth always go grocery shopping together bc it’s an Event (and also bc if hearth went alone, he’d come back w/ only junk food and no real food)

they bicker through the whole grocery store about what to get. passersby who don’t know sign think they’re having really serious arguments but it’s actually like ‘we should get bananas’ ‘but those bananas aren’t ripe!!’ ‘but i WANT them’ ‘we shouldn’t spend money on unripe bananas!’ ‘but i want bananas!!!!!’

blitz makes hot chocolate in the evenings sometimes after they’ve closed the shop & they sit and read together or something

sometimes magnus will visit the chase space & he’ll teach the kids (and hearth & blitz) how to bake brownies or something bc hearth & blitz are entirely clueless about cooking. they took a class together before opening the chase space & they’re marginally better but still terrible so the kids LOVE when magnus comes to visit because he makes treats that aren’ t cosmic brownies or poptarts

sometimes they sit together on the roof of the chase space after the kids have gone to bed & they stargaze. they both love the stars & the night sky bc neither of them could see it in their homeworlds. it’s one of their favorite things about midgard. magnus bought them a book of constellations & they bring it out & try to find them. of course stargazing also leads to gazing at each other and i love yous & it’s beautiful

 sometimes the kids will draw them as a family and they put the pictures up on the fridge. in one, they’re all holding hands & it’s labeled “BLITZ, HARTH, AND ME” in 7yo handwriting. blitz thinks the spelling error is hilarious. hearth does not.

hearth loves to watch blitz sew & blitz will ask his opinion on colors and designs a lot. it’s kind of pointless bc hearth literally only wears black t shirts and black jeans, but the sentiment is nice & he feels included

sometimes when hearth has been practicing a really difficult rune, he gets super frustrated & needs to be calmed down with a cuddle session. blitz will drop whatever he’s working on to relax on the couch together in each other’s arms until hearth is feeling better

hearth loves to kiss blitz on the forehead. sometimes blitz will do or say something really sweet & hearth’s eyes’ll go all soft and he’ll lean down and plant a smooch on blitz’ forehead in thanks

blitz knows hearth is a sucker for classic high fantasy shit, so one day he  out of nowhere kisses hearth’s hand like a knight meeting a princess. it was meant as a joke, but then blitz sees how flustered hearth gets. he absolutely fucking melts & blitz thinks maybe he’ll have to try this again. so sometimes when he’s feeling very cheesy, he’ll gallantly kiss hearth’s hand. hearth insists it’s cliche & stupid, but he blushes bright green every time & that’s enough for blitz to keep doing it

getting used to human holidays was a process. 

christmas they were thrown into by magnus and later alex. blitz makes clothes for everyone. magnus gets a jean jacket, alex gets a skirt, samirah gets a new hijab, and hearth gets another scarf, all of them reinforced w/ the works. idk what hearth would get everyone, i’d need to think some more

they’ve celebrated eid with samirah. 

some of the weirder holidays just get confusing. 4th of july & st patrick’s day are strange for them bc they’re not just foreigners in the us, they’re foreigners in midgard entirely. as otherworlders, they lump humans together in one category & tend to forget how much stock we put in our nationality/ethnicity. 

valentines day was a bit stressful for both of them bc they wanted to be romantic & get it right, but neither of them had experience w/ the customs. it didn’t matter, though. it was the effort that mattered & they were both really touched by each other’s gifts. 

mother’s day & father’s day are very hard for both of them. hearth goes with blitz to visit freya on mother’s day & blitz reminds hearth that it absolutely was not his fault that his mother died. 

on father’s day they visit bilí’s grave & they give each other a lot of hugs. blitz tells hearth that bilí would’ve loved him. on a whim, hearth fills out a father’s day card for odin, bc he’s the only real father figure he’s ever had. it’s a little weird writing thanks for the support, happy allfather’s day! but it feels right & somehow there’s a raven waiting outside to deliver it.

I mean, they’re made for each other and they pretty much call themselves Magnus’ mom and dad

If you don’t believe me look at Magnus’ wikipedia page under History, last sentence in paragraph 3

But ye pretty much they act like boyfriends

I mean, it’s canon that they act like boyfriends I mean Blitz is constantly talking about how he loves Hearth

So everyone kinda just assumes they’re dating when rlly they just crushing rlly hard on each other

So ye nobody rlly comments on it???? I mean like even Magnus has been referring to Blitz and Hearth as his “dads” when they aren’t there and a lot of ppl think they’re married

But they aren’t

Soooooooo… I’m a sucker for truth or dare, so imagine this. The gang is playing truth or dare and its okay. I mean so far the funnest thing that happened was Magnus kissed Alex as a dare and then they couldn’t stop and then Blitz pulled Alex aside and made her promise not to hurt his son

She did and said that how could anyone hurt a precious cinnamon roll like Magnus and Blitz couldn’t help but agree 

Sooooo anyway the game kinda became a little boring after that bc they pretty much knew everything about each other (except Blitz and Hearth didn’t know that the other was falling in love with them)

Anyways, Alex, who y’all know is a little devil when it comes to truth or dare, turns to Blitz

“Blitz. Truth or dare?”

“Truth.”

“Gods all you ppl with ur truths. Fine. When are you gonna propose to Hearth already?”

Technically it was a question that was running through everyones minds they where just to scared to ask bc gods that isn’t something you just ask

Both of their eyes widen and they look at each other and then look at the others then look at each other and look at the others and then–

“Wait are you guys already married?” Alex asks (she’s Blitzstone trash and she’s dying rn)

“Ummm…. we where never together.”

*dramatic music*

*even more dramaticer music*

Everyone kinda just looks horrified

“But you guys where my OTP” Alex whispers

“You where what I hoped my love life would be like,” Magnus says softly

“Of course you aren’t I frickin told them but these two idiots wouldn’t listen,” Sam says

Blitz and Hearth flash each other a look

They have a silent conversation with their eyes

“I love you,” Hearth’s seem to say

“I love you too,” Blitz’s say

“I want to be more than friends”

“Me too.”

“Gods why did it take us so long to do that?” Hearth signs.

“I don’t know, buddy. But we should do it again sometime.”
