haloangel: you’ve still got plenty of time to find something fun too! something local is just as good as traveling.  haloangel: haha well luckily you don’t have to worry about that just yet.

“I think I got like 3 months worth of alcohol.”

“Oh, gosh.. I don’t really think that’s healthy... is it all for yourself?” 

his hand guided the brush over the canvas slowly, following the previous color he had painted on — scents from the different paints helping to create the image before him. his glasses rested atop his head, the very dark blur of shapes visible through what little vision he had left — it was useless for him to even try to use his eyes, but he still always gave it a shot. the creak of the door caught his attention and he slowly lifted his head, finishing the stroke before dipping the brush into the cup of murky water. however, he refrained from saying much and instead listened for their position in the room, flashing a small smile as a greeting.

esmeralda was trying to find one of her friends and was obviously having difficulty doing so as she walked in door to door. when she cracked open the door, she notices someone paint and it caused her to tilt her hand to the side a bit before smiling warmly in return. “i’m sorry... i didn’t mean to interrupt your painting..” she trails off feeling awkward. “it looks really beautiful by the way.” 

“But if you have as much as talent as I think you do, you’ll make yourself stand out from all those other people..you just need to keep your chin up. You’re quite welcome, im always happy to help if when im needed..especially if its for a new friend. Mm, im only doing prep work right now at my job..its not as fun as actually working the line during services. You have no idea, I was so ready for a change of pace.”

“Thanks.. that’s great advice.. I hope that my voice does stand out from everyone else’s which makes me great and all. Well, that’s good to know that I could always count on you. It might not be as fun, but hey you’ll slowly get there. Sometimes I feel like that too, but then again I like being comfortable with where I am as well.” 

“Just keep your chin up high and work for it, don’t let yourself get discouraged. Im not the guy to say something of the such without good intentions, so yes-if you need help or a person to turn to, then im there. I would enjoy a job there at some point, ive still got a long way to go before I can manage my own kitchen though. Mm, I just love going out and just buying what I need..no more tiring gardening and having to grow your own food.”

“It’s really hard to not get discourage in this industry.. plus there’s so many other people competing for the spot and all. Oh, wow.. thank you so much that’s really kind of you, honestly.. I’ll definitely take you up on that offer. Well, all the work experiences you get could leave to your own kitchen. Yeah, that sounds awfully complicated.”

“Eventually you’ll see how much you’re actually worth, then you won’t doubt yourself and you can be happy. And please, you wouldn’t be a bother if im offering you help you out. No worries, just trying to spread a little positivity where needed. Going is on my places to visit, never really had the money to go before but one day for sure. Mm, its beautiful out in the country but theres just something about the city that feels exciting.”

“I sure hope that I could get to that point one day in my life.. after all, that is the goal. Are you sure about that? That’s really kind of you... really you don’t have to help me out or anything. That’s good to do, I always try and do that as well. I’m sure one day when you’re a big chief, you’ll be able to go. I totally understand what you mean by that... the city is just filled with everything in it.”
