Fan-cast for (I HOPE MAYBE POSSIBLE PLEASEE) live action Detentionaire series (just to revive this amazing series)…
Although the cartoon takes place in Highschool, meaning 14-17 year olds, I feel like the story can take place in a College academy so it’s more age accurate towards the actors + so it won’t end up like Riverdale where there’s clearly grown ass adults playing highschoolers 🤦🏽♀️
Lee Ping- Brandon H. Lee (Korean/25)
(Although he plays Kwon in Cobra Kai, he does skits on his and his friends’ yt channel and it shows a different variation of characters he can play. The show shouldn’t take itself too seriously, but since Brandon is so good at knowing when to be serious and “goofy” at times, I find him to be a good pick as Lee Ping…)
Brandy Silver- Maddison Brown (Aust./27)
(I have never watched any of the few projects she’s in, but from what I’ve seen in interviews/clips of shows, she’s so Brandy to me and I’m not just saying that because she looks like her, but because she just gives me vibes and I love her…)
Tina Kwee- Ashley Liao (Twns./23)
(I’ve searched up clips and interviews for Ashley and I really like her personality when it comes to being the “shy/nerdy” character. She has the personality that I think is perfect when it comes to Tina, who is a very smart and independent girl who often can be a shy nerd, but like it isn’t her whole personality…)
