So I’m fully aware that still being upset about a character that died in the first episode of a show is kind of insane work but just lis— JUST LISTEN TO ME.
The Uris bloodline is so important to me you guys. And I fear I gave Teddy a whole storyline and strengthened his personality MYSELF after he died. Like yes I kept him alive in my fic and I often forget that he’s ACTUALLY DEAD. So then I remember and I get sad. Because as much as I like to say “oh I claim Teddy Uris as MY character now”, he ISN’T MINE. He was a character that I got attached to within the only thirty minutes he was seen alive and then WATCHED DIE the same episode he was introduced. I was and still am a little devastated.
But also. Before I get slimed out. At least I’m not one of those people who stopped watching after the first episode. Welcome To Derry is genuinely one of my favorite shows and I love Lilly and Marge and Ronnie and Will and Rich. And people who just stopped watching the show all together after the first episode obviously just don’t appreciate the franchise for what it is. It’s based off of a Stephen King novel. It’s literally IT. People(kids especially) are GONNA DIE. Don’t go into it saying you love the IT franchise and then get so butthurt that you stop watching after the child killing clown actually kills children in a show literally centered around the history of it.
Honestly I was expecting way more deaths than there were. When those kids were all caught in the deadlights? Bitch I was expecting a BLOOD BATH. Don’t bitch and moan about the two white boys who died in the first episode if you’re not even gonna watch the whole show. Get out of my face
