Maybe I was wrong?

I still cannot escape the charm that is Guts&Blackpowder. Not just the characters, but it’s amazing world building. It’s unique and it honestly stands out, even when compared to other war games.

Trust me, I tried getting Holdfast: Nations At War on Steam so I could fill the Guts&Blackpowder shaped hole in my heart, but it just doesn’t hit the same. Also, most of the player base is in their mid to late 20s. You can imagine what I felt when I hopped on for the first time and heard grown men yelling into their microphone. Scary. The controls & customization also SUCKKK

Judgement was another issue. Perhaps at that time I pressured myself into making my art a certain way so I could gain more likes, or constantly push myself to my limits. And instead of confronting that harmful mentality, I blamed it on Guts&Blackpowder. In reality, though there IS repetitive gameplay and themes within the fandom, nothing was stopping me from creating something new. There was only my self-doubt.

My point is, there is a possibility I could be returning into the fandom. Yes I won’t be posting as often, and yes I have dropped a lot of my original characters. But I’m happy with that. And I want to be happy.

I know the fandom might burn me at the stake for this, but if countryhumans were real, America would most definitely be in the Epstein files or be associated with various people in the files. You can’t convince me otherwise, that man is 100% a creep conspiring with the very shady government (both democratic and republican). The guy will either lie entirely about the evidence against him, or he will make avoidant counterclaims or try to switch the topic. America would do anything to keep his position in office, and to keep his reputation. A reputation that is already crumbling before the public eye and his other fellow nations. His allies not only fear him, but look at him with disgust.

Same thing goes for Japan. He’s prob a middle-aged man that’s a slimy predator and refuses to admit his dubious war crimes. I’ll never forget the time I learned about the Nanjing massacre in my International History class. Though being a separate person from the Japanese empire, I still think he took part in the many atrocities the nation committed near World War II. But that doesn’t mean he got away with it. Prob got a penalty from the United Nations. And I say United Nations, because you know dang well the League of Nations was crumbling by 1945-1946 and they couldn’t really issue military action to stop Japan.
