As a person of Gay Voice experience I think more characters should be free to sound like CGI Pinocchio. Acting is such a famously gay field yet actors are told to act straight to get their parts… we need more characters with Starbucks barista voice and I think we should start dubbing over old films to right a historical wrong, starting with an even gayer version of Luke Skywalker

Every time i see a cute picture of sheep in the briddish countryside I'm like aww but then the nasty little commie in the back of my head goes "sheep herds like this were the commodity responsible for the enclosure of the commons/highland clearances as well as the destruction of native woodlands and uplands"

As I recall there was a long period before the loss of the commons where sheep were still a primary livestock. The commons existed specifically as a way for many shepherds to graze their sheep on shared land held in common without having to own it personally. The commons were enclosed by lords and gentry, don’t blame the sheep.

Yeah that’s a legitimate and good response, however the countryside itself has been utterly and intensively shaped for the desires of the land-owning class. England in particular then sells its vision of itself as central, beautiful, ancient, justified, untouchable and timeless based on the marketing of its shared vision. You can analyse the vision of sheep/countryside in several different ways which are all valid - but why is it presented for your consumption in the first place? Is it about the sheep? je pense que les americains et les anglais savent pas combien de l’internet est accommode pour ils. presque tous des messages sont en anglais. si ils sont pas, il y a une translation beaucoup de temps. il y a des enfants qui parlent en anglais et c’est pas leur premiere langue, mais ils doivent le faire parce que quand ils le font pas il y a personne qui parlent avec leurs. et c’est pas de probleme de parler en une autre langue, mais le probleme c’est que on s’adapte pour les anglais TOUT le temps et quand on veut faire une post en sa propre langue, les anglais sont la pour dire ‘WHY CANT YOU JUST TALK ENGLISH’. on parle en anglais tout le temps, donne nous cet moment.
