It’s funny how being single for a long time lends you perspective about the friends you surround yourself with. It makes sense because when you’re single those are the meaningful relationships that become the focus of your time and energy.

To me, a real friend will be happy for you regardless of the time spent apart or the shit life has thrown at them!!!

I just don’t understand why haters insist on staying in your life!! Personally, I’m dealing with the burden of having to process broken communication or worse, have to cut a bitch off altogether because of this persistence. It would be much more amicable for people to fade the intensity of their friendships and avoid eachother/associate more casually. But why people got to be fake and claim a bond or intimacy that they never even reciprocate?
