GREAT LGBTQ+ FILMS
A List of some outstanding LGBTQ+ films I can recall at the moment, I’m making it for a friend out there in Russia who anonymously asked for some recommendations in light of the climate towards the lgbtq+ community out there, but also I hope the list is useful for anyone reading, if you want to add films, feel free to do so.

everytime i hear someone saying they only appreciate slow cinema, i always picture béla tarr singing the lyrics of despacito, instead of listening to them.
my favorite thing in the world is how #cinephiles have absolutely no sense of humor, you know which ones, those who 'are smarter than you' and watch 'obscure' shit like hitchcock, nolan, tarantino and kubrick, which of course we simple mortals 'have never listened about' 'cause let's face it, to find out about movies directed by straight white dudes who make movies in english is like so rare, like no one ever talks about them, where's their respect? they're so underrated, when was the last time you heard someone praising a #filme (yes, with e) directed by a white straight male working in hollywood, justice for these boys.
LGBTQ and LGBTTTI
now in all seriousness, is interesting how each community even when exists inside a larger group has it’s own rules and way of perceive life and each should be respected, i was surprised when i discovered in mexico the correct term the queer community accepts is not lgbtq but lgbttti so i’m bringing up the issue ‘cause i feel mexican individuals should be respected in which term they prefer and shouldn’t be erased since all countries even when fighting for equality have diverse contexts and different struggles, i’m translating with the most accurate possible words but the truth is the meaning some words have in english it’s pointless in spanish and vice versa, so terms english-speaking people accept spanish speaking people deem them offensive, the same way it happens to some terms english-speakers consider offensive in spanish are not offensive at all, the letters in LGBTTTI stand for:
Lesbian, any person who identifies themselves as a woman and feels attraction either romantic or sexual for other women.
Gay, any person who identifies themselves as a man and feels attraction either romantic or sexual towards other men.
Bisexual, any person who feels attraction either romantic or sexual towards people of their own sex or different.
Transexual, any person who identifies with a different gender that that which was given to them at birth and who has seek hormonal treatment and medical assistance to achieve their true self.
Transgender, any person who identifies with a different gender than that which was given to them at birth but who due to their own decision or due to economical, social or any restriction of all kind they have not went through any hormonal process or medical procedure.
Transvestite, any person who defies gender and breaks the rules of how men an woman are supposed to behave, dress, etc.
Intersex, any person who is born with a sexual anatomy that doesn’t seem to fit the typical definitions of female and male.
note how in mexico both romantic and sexual factors are taking in account, there’s not need for a questioning inclusion since the bisexual term in mexico kind of serves as an umbrella, the same way it happens to pansexuality, bisexual serves as an umbrella in that case too since our language doesn’t really make a distinction between both, so please do not try to translate this to your reality, specially in an english speaking country, that’s a disservice to the queer community of mexico, but consider instead this is a different way of perceive life and ask for respect and equality, most of these words have very different meanings that are not translatable to the english language and do not make sense in the context of the fight for rights of the queer community in usa and other country but does for the fight for rights of the mexican queer community, i’m just posting ‘cause i know there are people in another nations who have attachments to mexico and i thought it would be nice to be aware of this, i wasn’t until recently.
Happy pride month from mexico!
