An Extended Vacation

My spirit has re-energised rapidly since I became involved in the Martial Arts in July. I have a non-displaced fractured 5th metatarsal and must sit out for a while - I am a little sad but I well know the risks. I just want to heal quickly so I can take more.

Good-bye dave: A Tearful Poem I miss the man you said you were, The man you could have been, The man you should have been; The love I felt, The love you said you felt, The love we could have had. I miss my heart, My warmth, My caring; Your smile, Your laughter, Your company. Most of all, I miss calling you David.

**Personal Note: I am not sure why I had to read the entire book to read this statement of my character; this is now my message to the world.

Lesson: I am no longer the woman who will allow those she loves to drag her through the mud. Those who think to do so are sadly mistaken.

The lesson: Do not suffer fools. Never be afraid to let people go, who do not support your goals and lift up your spirit. You deserve so much better!!

This is the story of my life. In the past, I have allowed people and circumstances to hurt me. I have since decided that no one will ever hurt me again - physically, emotionally, or spiritually. Anyone who dares will be taken down like a sack of sand. My outter heart and its core are now tough - as God meant it to be.

I know that some of my readers may have battled fear which leads to indecision and, ultimately, loss. I have already realised my nightmares. There is little that scares me now.

To my followers: Contrary to popular belief, I have not fallen off the earth or into my toilet (again). I have been away, trying to get my head (and my life) sorted out, and this has taken some doing. It is my hope to update you on my progress (or lack thereof) very soon. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this unexpected hiatus. With Love, Mary
