If I were stronger I'd stay...

It’s like: I respect that Taylor’s interpretation of Mel is ace, but that’s not (yet) canon, and anyway, fanon isn’t limited to canon, but it would be great to have ace representation on mainstream TV, but also it would be wonderful to have an autistic woman who gets a conventionally attractive love interest, but how much of this is just my own selfishness and/or internalised acephobia rationalising what it is that I want, but is it really so bad for a nerd to want to see another nerd get swept off her feet, but then, ace isn’t aro, and maybe Frank’s her exception, but Jesus, isn’t that equivalent to “have you tried sleeping with a man” for lesbians, but then again, sexuality is a spectrum, and sometimes there IS an exception, but …
