My twin was talking about her and she wanted to redesign Teal, but she couldn’t find references anywhere (outside the manga).

So I decided to gather as much appearances I could find of her and, well, share here too! 👍

(Kronos eating his children because that’s how Iris feels about X. “Time eats all his children”; going against a power much bigger than you; the past generation consuming everything, nothing is left for the future; she can’t scape him no matter how hard she tries, and the only way out was rebelling) (Prometheus because X4 is gonna be inspired by the myth… I mean the only story is inspired by the myth, but X4 is the conclusion of the myth. “Zeus”, in this case Sigma, took away the “Fire”, Repliforce, from humanity. X, “Prometheus”, returned the fire to humanity, so “Zeus” punished “Prometheus” with the “eagle”, Iris.

Iris can also be simultaneously Zeus, the Fire and The Eagle too–Zeus because he took the fire away after he was tricked by Prometheus to have the worse meal; her turning into the eagle can also mean how she abandoned humanity physically, but also abandoned X gift to Reploids, their free will, in name of her revenge.

It was a long, long time ago, but I was, and it’s… interesting how those days I was called “Iris enthusiast”. Good.

(X, Colonel and Iris being this established trio, siblings and all that, then Zero comes along and he just stand out like an alien near them, but still sticks around is so fucking cute to me 😭)

(If he was a hunter in the AU, they would be closer for sure, but because he’s in Repliforce, just Iris is. She will also change units for a while here, when Repliforce was formed, but here I imagine she was going to train their navigators instead of being, well, a newbie; him and Colonel are more formal, they don’t spare… Colonel doesn’t like him very much, and X is his fucking nemesis/rival that WILL have problems with him for breathing wrong.

X is gonna be a menace here due to Colonel’s influence + the fact that here the trio know that he was a Maverick. The X-Hunters literally fought to have each other’s piece of Zero! He’s a dangerous weapon! He has amnesia, but Colonel is doubtful, so X also gets doubtful, but because he isn’t in a position of power, he can be more vocal about it.

(The idea is very simple: Dr.Cain created Reploids before he decided to release X from his shoebox, but, the reason why he took so long, even after the creation of the first line, was because he was trying to recreate X– that recreation would be his sibling!

X ended up with two siblings in the end, but the more the better– because we’re earlier in the story, the twins would work with the Hunters, Colonel would probably be Sigma’s left hand, Iris is their designated navigator.

Talking about Sigma, he’s kinda their older brother… but you know that half-sibling from father’s part, that’s 20 years older than you?

That’s him.

He doesn’t really have the same energy as the trio, not anymore, but he sees their enthusiasm and can’t help but feel hopeful about the future too. Colonel is close to him, as they both are Reploids created solely for combat, but Sigma actually seems more closer with Iris, probably because they seem to care a lot about the well being of the Hunters in general.

Doesn’t mean he doesn’t get along with X as well! They just don’t talk as much because he’s with Cain, helping in his projects.

X only joins the Hunters much later than them, which Iris wasn’t as enthusiastic as Colonel was when X told them…

Aaaaaaandddd… I don’t know, just some dumb shit like Colonel and Iris being protective of X to the point of almost suffocation cuz Damn, they KNEW he would have some trouble in the Hunters, but they don’t give space for him to improve on his own too 😭

Colonel motivates X to Never excite during their trainings, but when they are on the battlefield… let’s just say he isn’t as enthusiastic of X taking action. Meanwhile, Iris keeps a close eye on X, to see if anyone is picking on him, defending him all the time, + she speaking for him, as if he was a toddler.

Iris feeling Colonel’s spark fading away while she was in a coma state; when one is in danger, the other will be alerted… she could only feel him slowly fading away. She has no idea how, nor who, killed him here. She just knows she could not even save Her own brother. (And I cried like a baby because I thought about this while listening to “Bright Eyes”, from Watership down. Look, Zero still killed Colonel here, but really, it doesn’t matter… because when someone you love dies during war, will you ever know who killed them? She would never forgive him, she would hate him forever after this. She fucking would. But for this story, it doesn’t matter it was him, or any other Hunter, because her Wrath was against something much bigger than Zero). (Colonel’s death also made me tear up when I thought about it because he was finally freeing himself from his programming… and he died before Iris could learn the name he picked up for himself. Colonel died as a soldier moments before of actually becoming someone beyond his role).

X listening, over and over again, Dr.Light’s messages has left for him, of how proud he was of him; even though they couldn’t possibly meet each other the moment X started to live… he shall know that whatever path X decides to take, he has his approval and support. (Dude imagine going through the worst moment in your life and you just need someone to tell you: You’re doing fine.

You can actually imagine the “fire” X gave away in two ways here, simultaneously: He helped humanity to evolve technologically and he gave his creations, the Reploids, the power to make decisions on their own, just like him.

It all started with good intentions from his part, but good intentions are never enough to justify that he still gave the same fire that would burn down villages.

And now his liver is constantly being eaten away by his decision.

He doesn’t have the right for his own creations, Dr.Cain has; (Or something like that) (the point is, X just assisted with the first Reploid and their schematics, Dr.Cain distributes those schematics)

Therefore, X doesn’t have the final word of what Reploids shall be created for… he wasn’t happy in the slightest knowing that Dr.Cain just gave the permission that Reploids would be fabricated for Conflict purposes.

but he also didn’t fought against it, as at that point in time there was no better answer for the Maverick attacks other than creating someone capable of solving the problem.

(this decision will bite him in the ass very hard, as this is a road that is not easy to go back) (Man kind created swords, then guns, then tanks, then Nuclear bombs— Reploids created for conflict will always get bigger until the point you just have to ask yourself why you haven’t stop; there’s a legitimate risk this Reploid will not be treated as a sentient entity, but a weapon with consciousness and internalize it.)

(I want them to be the point where the Reploids are created to be humanity strongest military, treated more like an instruments of destruction that happen to make decisions on their own behalf.

Look, I’m trying to be fair here… I’m not gonna say a human shouldn’t be worried being near someone that’s built like a tank. Any Reploid can go Maverick; with how optimize for battle a Repliforce soldier is too, one of them going Maverick is enough to say “we can’t let them do anything without supervision”.

The difference is that you’re doing this with someone that’s capable of rationalizing what’s going on. You have created super soldiers that can’t possibly live in civil life being who they are, and sure, some Reploids may not feel bad about it, after all: Why miss something that you never had? They have their own place too…

some may never want the war to end. Why wishing for a civil life?

But not everyone is like this. That’s the point.

Assuming how a whole group would act the same way never ends up well. By design, corporations creates Reploids that couldn’t exist without causing fear, so how can you make sure they are able to have a life outside combat? Outside the battlefield? To Truly Have Free Will??

Yes, you can argue: But they’re Reploids, they can change their bodies.

Which is fair, but Let’s just say: The Reploid is comfortable is changing who they are to fit civil life… Is it enough? Think about it, this soldier never lived with a human before, they’re created for war, and fought everyday, therefore they have a lot of baggage too, the same way a veteran would have after returning home— if a human veteran already has challenges to overcome after war, how can you make sure a Reploid is even gonna be prepared for a life they never had?

You can’t stop a human soldier coming back home because of the possibility of them not being able to readapt to civil life. It’s their right to return after serving. But This Reploid needs support because of public safety + their own, as again, they never lived outside the context of the military. How accessible that’s?

How can you make sure a Reploid, created for war, can have their right to choose to not to be a combatant? To have a life outside conflict and the military? While also not creating panic among humans?)

The Maid vs the Man-Eater; the woman from the statue wounded the beast with a pole with a bayonet, making it back off (she was one the few survivors of the beast attacks),

(Obviously this is about my Reinterpretation of those characters, as Alia is a human being and, well, Sigma hunts down humans for extermination purposes— but Alia still is able to fight back, which Big L for the guy that was built to predate anything, LOL) (She may not have killed Him, but she’s still essential for his death; but yeah, I want her to shot him at least once, that would be satisfying after what he will make her go through + we can solidified her as a wolf killer, lol!) (don’t know what will happen in the story for this scenario to happen, because Sigma around her is a wolf in disguise, but there will be a point where the mask falls.

He hates her, and only treat her well because of what she can afford— that until the creation of the new generation, when he stops being “nice”.

Talking about the new generation, i have something for them: they don’t hate her; some treat her like a God actually, just like others will treat Sigma like their God,… And this is not a Good Thing because they will do crazy bullshit in their name 😭

I was thinking that X8 is about the war between The new generation Reploids, as they are fighting between each other because some want to follow Sigma, others want to follow Alia. They’re both important figures for their existence, but because of their conflicting teachings, you can imagine how this only ended up in a bloodshed— that until Lumine appeared to stop the conflict.

Lumine is the only character that challenges their “Parents” “divine authority” towards the new generation; he saw the conflict between his siblings, said “stop…. Why follow them when We should rule over the stars?” and everyone just looked puzzled at him, until he proceeded to demonstrate the knowledge he gathered by listening to both Alia and Sigma— Lumine is their favorite creation. He has a special connection with both, as he’s the only who knows them personally… besides Axl— and the conclusion he came up with after listening to both sides was to destroy them both, as the old world was holding back the New Generation with a conflict older than them.

Of course he does something to prove his authority… maybe he’s the one that shows they’re capable of transforming into Sigma? Showing how irrelevant he’s when they can just Be Him. He’s no God, just a Reploid from the old world.
