Good morning!! Fast sketchh
Shogi here is the main human protagonist of Metapets. As mentioned before, he never wanted to get another virtual pet after his old one died. He chooses to save an abandoned MetaPet V4 regardless this decision and ultimately becomes attached despite his best efforts. Shogi is pretty relaxed, and likes to stay in his comfort zone, which includes skateboarding, reading comics and game guides, and playing videogames. (Believe it or not, he does like to smile.)

Revisiting old works from 2022
No, that's no fanart. Those are OCs, and OCs for something big I'm currently working on. I've always wanted to make comics. In fact, a large part of why I began to take art seriously was because I wanted to draw comics. So… I guess this is a convoluted way of saying I'm going to try making a webcomic!
Metapets is about Shogi, a 14-year-old who promised himself to never get attached to a virtual pet again. However, when he's faced with a broken MetaPet V4 that's been thrown away, he breaks his promise and chooses to raise just one more.
Metapets are, by design, the perfect match to their owners, known as 'pals' among the Metapets. Shogi's new pet, Pitchy, does not match his pal. Shogi must re-learn what he's missed in the Metapets scene since the deletion of his last pet, and despite his best efforts, becomes attached to Pitchy along the way.
I don't know when I'll start posting the actual comic, but I'm going to try to post more pieces of art of the characters, along with bits of lore. (Teasers if you will.) I hope you've enjoyed, and if you have any questions, please ask away!
