Love this idea, but a few questions:

Patent means the government had the idea of X, and approved of it. Wouldn't the government find him first?

Don't patents expire after a hundred~ or so years?

Both good points I didn't think of. I did some research, and patents expire after only 20 years... And as for the government part, Dr. Light has been making robots for years. Claiming that one is near-human would probably be met with 'so Light's at it again' and they wouldn't believe he could actaully do it.

Maybe the patent doesn't officially get filed until proof of X's activation, and now X has a countdown of only twenty years before others are allowed to infringed on his design.

He's got his work cut out for sure. (And this would also mean that Zero, when discovered, counts as copyright infringement.)

4. If you could put this character in any other media, be it a book, a movie, anything, what would you put them in?

Tbh? Putting the guy used to punching his problems into any series where people use other things to solve problems would be HILARIOUS. Put him in Pokemon. Tell him he’s not allowed to punch anyone in the face, that’s what these little critters are for.

He’d go insane.

9. Could you be roommates with this character?

Uh… I don’t see why not. He’s pretty chill, albeit chaotic, provided you don’t make fun of his height xD

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

This is a hard one because I don’t think about this series as much as I do Mega Man xD

But if I had to choose something, I’d like to think that he chose to wear red for his signature coat because that was his mom’s favorite color… (Note, Trisha does not have a stated favorite color anywhere in canon.)

Hello! Thanks for the ask!

19. Uhhh... Canon relationships I don't like? I'm going to say this counts with friendships. Honestly, I can't think of any. I think maybe romantic relationship with Layer, but that's more one-sided on Layer's part. I think Zero respects her as a friend and his Navigator, but I don't like the idea of it turning into romance. (Mostly because I think Zero doesn't want to love romantically again after what happened to Iris.)

That may have been a lackluster answer, but thanks for asking!
