Hello ! I decided that I’d start sharing my Yumeship on this account, so I’d like to instaure boundaries with an introduction !

More about the boundaries :

• I’m obviously not asking anyone that ships Canon x Canon to stop shipping, just to not interact with me or even block me. It comes from an issue of shippers claiming their ships were canon, making me anxious as a Riako AND neurodivergent.

An issue I mostly got with Jamiazu shippers, placing that ship at my most anxiety triggering one. I’ll be more strict about this one in particular because of those past experiences. No hate to shippers who ship it respectfully of course !

• If you post NSFW, WRITE A WARNING, or censor it. I’m fine with suggesting art though.

• I am selective with my non-romantic Oshis for two different reasons :

- I have a special attachment to Edmond Dantès as my comfort character, although it’s not romantic. I can share him but I will be selective. Not very strictly though !

- As for Tsukasa Tenma, it’s about portraying. He’s a heavily mischaracterized character in the project Sekai community so I’ll be particular about it.

Hello ! Sorry for this dumb post. Please don’t be rude, what I’m about to say is personal and genuine, it’s REALLY not something I’m proud of.

I’m an Azul Riako. Initially, I had no problem with that, as I was under the impression that the game catered to women (though other gender can enjoy it) in general, both yumes and fujos alike, as the game benefited from both. To me, being a Riako of a character of that game would be « safe », and I had a good time.

That until yesterday. As a Riako, I never liked seeing my f/o being shipped with somebody else, but I figured I could just ignored the fanarts and enjoy the game without any drama. It was nice… Then the Scarabia manga update came out. And it was chaos.

It’s pure yaoi bait fanservice. To the point that I see it EVERYWHERE, with comments like « Azul is right where he wants to be », « Imagine being an Azul Yume and your opponent is Jamil Viper », « TWST releasing this in pride month, they’re definitely telling something »… Heck, even non-shippers agreed it was fruity, and that’s the part that scares me the most. If even neutral people agreed, it means that it’s a big deal, isn’t it?…

Is the franchise still yume friendly after that ? Was it meant to be interpreted romantically even though as of book 8 they’re not a couple to my knowledge ? Was it hinting possible romantic feelings or was it just hardcore Fujo bait ?

I’m sorry for the dumb question, but Azul genuinely means a lot to me and I really was having a good time sharing my Yumeship and my appreciation for him various ways, but now, this made me question if I can still call him my f/o.

I know I should just enjoy my Yumeship, but I’m one of those persons that wouldn’t be able to yume somebody with a canon/implied love interest, so seeing those posts claiming they’re a thing now, that the game is hinting something genuinely hurts, so I’m taking a step back to focus on other aspects and characters for now until the manga situation settles down and until I figure out how to handle those feelings in a more healthy way so I can keep enjoying the game. But man…

Being an Azul Yume/Riako with all the JamiAzu fanservice lately (Book 7.5, book 8 and now the manga) is really sporty, I don’t recommend this to anybody 💀

Do you think the game is indeed hinting something or am I still « safe » to yume Azul?

I’ve been seeing this update everywhere today, specifically in JamiAzu shipping posts and even non-JamiAzu shippers also agreeing it looked fruity… And honestly, as an Azul Yume and worse, a Riako (I hate being one rn), it actually hurts ?

Like, I knew this ship was popular, I knew the game sometimes gave fanservice, but THAT ?? It’s a whole different level. I think it’s the worst moment yet, to the point where people even say that « Azul yumes have tough competition », « Twst releasing this on pride month knew what they were doing » etc…

ONCE AGAIN, this isn’t a hate post, it’s more like a vent post.

Can I really keep being an Azul Yume with the franchise giving that much attention to this pairing ? Are they hinting in something or is it just fanservice that doesn’t leads to canon romance ?

I know the chapter takes place in book 4 and we’re in book 8 but damn did they really have to draw this scene like that ?

I’m genuinely confused because until now there wasn’t THAT MUCH fanservice and this scene just had me wonder if the game plans to do something with them or if I can still yume Azul safely.

Can somebody enlighten me on this situation ? Is it still « safe » to yume Azul ? 😭 is the franchise still yume friendly ?

I was told on multiple occasions that the game catered to both yumes and fujos but this update + the amount of attention Jamil and Azul’s dynamic got in the recent updates in game really confuse me. Would they ever canonize a ship ?…

Note : Viviane is in an all girls academy created by Mello Jitos (FB), and the dorm she’s in has nothing to do with the character she’s twisted from, she ended up in that one based on her personality ! Same for Morgan, sort of, but he was initially in Octavinelle.

Hello ! Here is a art of my OC, Morgan Maleagant Dazzleblade (Full name), based on Madam Mim and currently in Pomefiore dorm (formerly in Octavinelle)

He’s the brother of my other OC, Viviane, who is in an all girls academy. He’s a unstable guy who doesn’t exactly play by the rules…

And his UM is about shapeshifting… But he will ALWAYS be purple. Sorry Morgan.

I tried mimicking the TWST/Yana Toboso art style using pages of the art book and Elizabeth Midford as references. I’m not quite there yet, but I’m still satisfied with it!

Also tried editing her on Azul’s cozy wear card a while ago, for the 6th anniversary, so I’m adding it to the post as well! It was my first ever attempt on the TWST art style.

Here’s a comparison of her two previous fullbody arts. I think her current one is much better !

It seems like Azul and Jamil got closer, as they are finally joining forces to win against RSA, which is great because I wanted to see them sort of becoming friends/frenemies in the future.

HOWEVER. This is the part where I’m stupid so sorry if I sound dumb haha, but every time I see this being brought up… It’s in shipping posts. Am I missing something? Was this meant to be read as romantic ? Was it actual flirting or is it a fanon/shipping interpretation ? Can I see it a platonic interaction or is it necessarily romantic ?

No hate to shippers obviously ! I respect shippers and would never insult anyone, I’m just confused. Also, I’m embarrassed to admit that I’m an Azul Yume, so people claiming Jamiazu turning canon is kind of making me anxious, please don’t be rude about it.

Diane is the current head of the Dazzleblade family, a very confident and merciless woman when it comes ton fencing. Vivi’s chaotic side comes from her, but has been balanced by Tristan’s personality.

She can also seem unsettling sometimes but she is perfect to her husband, who is a total hopeless romantic. Tristan is just a silly guy hopelessly in love with his wife, this man will never shut up about his wife. He also has a collection of silly ties !

Tristan would definitely welcome Azul with open arms while Diane is the type to test someone’s patience… Who knows how she’ll treat the octopus.

They’re siblings, known as the Dazzleblade siblings, the brother, Morgan is in NRC in Pomefiore (previously Octavinelle), and the sister, Viviane is in an all girls academy created by my friend. Despite her being based on Arthur outside of school, she ended up in a dorm based on Jasmine, because of her free spirited mind, which means she went from wearing red clothes to a teal uniform (she still likes it though)

The brother is based on Madam Mim.

Viviane, aka « Vivi », is a peppy girl who can also be serious when needed, and when she is, some compare her to a « king ». She is passionate about fencing, a bit too much, as she can be a bit… Unhinged about it. (Kinda like Still in love from Umamusume but less pronounced)

Meanwhile Morgan looks like a serious and polite guy, but is actually grumpy, with anger issues… He’s still overall well behaved, being from a noble family who takes chivalry codes very seriously.

Viviane has a mentor, a very old Fae named Arianne. She has been a friend of their family for generations, guiding the heirs as well. She is an old friend of Ambrose the 63rd, back when he was young. He aged, and she didn’t change. Tbh she’d probably get along with Lilia as well, not sure about this part yet though.

Despite being from different academies, Viviane ended up dating Azul… Somehow. Nothing predicted it, but it happened, to Morgan’s despair, who actively despises him. Their dynamic is similar to Takagi and Nishikata from « teasing master Takagi-san », though Azul is smarter than Nishikata lol

Aside of Azul, Viviane gets along well with Epel, Rook, Kalim and Cater. Her skills are also respected by Sebek, and the fact that she has a Fae mentor ? Absolutely awesome. Silver also knows about her family and her skills, since they are well known knights. Viviane also likes riddle, as she sometimes see similarities between him and Morgan… SOMETIMES.

Meanwhile, Morgan is Aroace. He does not want romantic partners. However, he’ll have a queerplatonic relationship with both Jade and Jamil. Morgan is also Jade’s mountain buddy ! Hiking helps him calm his nerves. Aside of these two, he gets along with Leona, Trey and Deuce as well, and the Pomefiore folks of course.

However, he despises Azul and doesn’t really like Sebek. Floyd also tends to get on his nerves quickly, which amuses Jade.

Azul secretly had a little bit of a crush on Morgan before meeting Viviane, but it didn’t last. Octopus got bisexual panic when the siblings showed up lmao

Sorry dude, I don’t think the octopus is leaving anytime soon 😭

Fun fact ! It is said that Viviane looks like a king. A king who worked hard to prove herself worth to the world, just like another king did before her.

He’s not exactly Balto, he’s more of a representation/personification of the whole story. He represents all dogs (Togo included obviously), all mushers and of course, all children ! He uses Balto’s name because that’s the dog humanity remembers the most.
