OC/Yumeship introduction (Tokyo Debunker)
Note : as someone new to the fandom, her lore is still very much WIP. I will work more on her as I learn more about the game and characters !

Chizuruās parents are experts in anomalies research who work overseas in Darkwickās sister school in the UK. Their family is wealthy enough to send Chizuru money to live on her own comfortably.
She never exactly knew what her parents were doing. She thought they were just regular scientists and fair enough ; they never told her the nature of their job, making sure that this child grew up oblivious of it.
The family also had a dogā¦ It was small, it didnāt look any different from a regular dog but it wasnāt normal. This dog actually was an anomaly her parents kept around, one her father already had back when he was a student of Darkwick himself. The dog-like anomaly never aged, it stayed that way. The father never talked about the original of that dog, but itās something deeply personal about himself and his past. The father and the dog have background.
Once she was old enough to stay alone, her parents accepted a job overseas, but stayed in contact with her and kept financially supporting her. They also let the dog stay with her, as some kind of guardian, even though Chizuru never knew : to her, she was just staying with a pet.
But someday, while she was walking that dog at evening, a most bigger and menacing anomaly attacked Chizuru, cursing her body to the point where the pain was unbearable, as if it was trying to eat her by the insideā¦ The dog felt Chizuruās pain and acted like her guardian : it took a much bigger and scarier form to fight back the other anomaly. However, Chizuru was definitely going to die, her state was absolutely terrible, and losing her was unimaginable for that dog who saw her growing upā¦ So the dog decided to absorb half of the curse by cursing her itself, now Ā«Ā possessingĀ Ā» her, becoming literally a part of her. Instead of dying in unbearable pain, the effects left were loss of energy, symptoms similar to narcolepsy, sometimes confusion and hallucinations (at least she thinks it is) when she pushes herself too much.
The dog also suffers from those effects, as it is now much weakerā¦ But still remains by her side at all time. When heās not physically around, heās in the back of her mind, feeling and watching over her emotions, coming out every time she feels alarmed or scared.
Being a part of her, the only one who cannot see the dog is Chizuru herself. Everyone but Chizuru sees the dog when he physically appears.
Chizuru was found in a terrible state with the dog protecting her and not letting anyone approach. Not only the dog had to be immobilized, but they also soon realized they could NOT be separated, and that the dog was indeed protecting her and not arming her.
And most importantly ; the anomaly that was detected and that had to be caught seemed to have been neutralized by the dog itself. But the damaged on Chizuruās body was already done despite being saved by the dog.
Chizuru was rescued and brought to darkwick academy where she was kept until strict supervision until she finally woke up, and even then, she was in a state of confusion and she couldnāt tell them who she was until she fully regained consciousness.
Because of her new condition and the presence of that dog, the academy was already going to keep them, but as soon as they learned who her parents were, they immediately contacted them and agreed to study her case to find a way for her to recover or at least have a state favorable for a normal life, while also registering her as a student for the upcoming year, that was months later. They used these months for rehabilitation because of the damages she suffered from.
Chizuru still doesnāt follow a regular program, because of her condition, she has a special program ; she only physically attends half of classes and a designated student sends copy of the second half of classes to her so she can catch up.
Sheās also kept in a supervised room because of her condition, they have to keep her close to study her case closely and she also has regular medical checkups.
Chizuru is actually not the lazy of overly pessimistic type, sure, she is gloomy because of her condition but she also tries her best, even though the tiredness makes her clumsy, if she doesnāt fall asleep on the spot. She can be found sleeping at various places, but the dog would always keep an eye on her.
Iām not sure how she met Haru just yet, but as soon as he realized that dog was harmless and even protecting this girl, and could tell that their bond was undeniable and got curious about this situation, despite his uncomfortable feeling around that dog, as somebody who dislikes dogs in general.
Did it stop it from offering Chizuru Ā«Ā good dealsĀ Ā» for a tour ?? No, absolutely not. Did she accept because she was feeling gloomier than usual ? Definitely.
The more they hung out together, the more she helped with the simplest tasks, such as handing flyers for example. He gladly accepted her help and soon saw more than the sleepy girl with a big scary dog.
He also thinks Chizuru is cute and amusing, with her clumsy behavior. He knows sheās gloomy and trying her best to help him whenever she can, and knowing it makes her feel useful, he agreed to let her help with the easy tasks (under his supervision obviously), encouraged her and even shared his energy drinks with her. Because of the presence of the dog, Peekaboo was first afraid of her but eventually got used to her presence.
And the more Chizuru spent time with Haru, the less the dog showed up, meaning he trusted Haru enough to rely on him, as a positive influence for Chizuru, as she admired Haruās energy and he became a source of motivation for her ; because he never made her felt like a burden. He made her feel useful and get out of her room and shell, while reminding her to listen to her body whenever she needs to rest.
She definitely started crushing first because of that. Not sure about how they will confess or start dating yet, but their dynamic is pretty healthy so far.
Chizuru definitely fell asleep more than once while helping him though HAHAHAHAHA poor lil thing
ā¢ Chizuru never knew about the dogās origins, she just knows it was her fatherās dog.
ā¢ She also believes that dog is dead, not suspecting he changed form and became a part of herself.
ā¢ The cats seem to keep a distance from her because if the dog. Poor thing.
Her relationship with other characters (WIP because I donāt know all of them perfectly yet) :
ā¢ Towa at first didnāt like Chizuru at first because she was taking a bit of Haruās attention, and Towa was worried Haru might forget about him because of that. But he eventually let her in, and they seem to get along now, even though Chizuru struggles to understand him. Itās a cute platonic dynamic, in a way. But Haru has to translate
ā¢ Towa sees the dog and knows exactly what it is, he felt that the dog was just protecting his family. He can related to that. He actually likes that big creature.
ā¢ Being fond of romance, once he fully trusted Chizuru, Towa definitely saw the romantic potential between Haru and Chizuru, which is something he now likes to witness.
ā¢ He calls Chizuru Ā«Ā lavenderĀ Ā» because itās a plant often associated with sleep.
ā¢ Chizuru gets along with Lucas (I mean who doesnāt?) and heās the one who made her believe there was indeed a giant dog by her side, to Haruās despair š she later apologized for not believing him.
ā¢ Lucas sometimes checks on her, like the friendly guy he is. Theyāre not THAT close, but theyāre in good terms.
ā¢ Kaito did try to approach her but ran away as soon as he saw the giant dog.
ā¢ Taiga wants to fight the big dog yāknow, because heās weird.
ā¢ Yuri is definitely interested in her case.
ā¢ Rui knows about her through Haru talking about her. He thinks sheās cute but he also knows itās not his shot lol
