I genuinely am just staying alive right now because I want to watch the Sunrise Over The Reaping movie after I begged my father to buy me the book for my birthday last year. My favorite book series is The Hunger Games series and this is coming from someone who started reading non picture books at 8 (I'm not bragging gng). My first ever book was BFG and I loved it so much and I've been reading ever since and the reason my mother let me read it was because my then best friend's brother recommended it to my mother saying it would improve my English and my mom trusted him because he spoke with a really good accent as they had just moved from the USA. This reminds of a funny story about this friend, for context I don't make friends easily and I was a new kid in 2nd grade who had just left her grandma's house to live with my mom so I was pretty lonely and sad so this boy shows me kindness and I obviously become friends with him. One day me and my other friend got into a fight and I was pretty angry. Outside of our classroom aka the corridor in the first floor,we had a balcony and the boundary was made out of steel cylindrical rods ig. We are sitting on a slightly raised platform near the boundary and I'm telling my friend about the fight and my friend tells me that if we were to think of a person in a specific part of our head and then hit that part (with our hand is what he was referring to) we would forget that person, being the very intelligent 8 year old I was, I thought of that girl near my forehead and flung my head across the boundary obviously it hurt like shit and I started bleeding because of a cut but my friend thought I was bleeding from my head and got a teacher in full panic. The teacher comes to me with a nurse and examines my injury all the while my friend is panicking whether he would be arrested if I were to die because it was his idea 😂😂. End of story, I apologise for rambling. K byeeee
