i personally donât like Jeid because it feels like it came out of nowhere and they couldnât stick with any of it. like spencer saying sheâs the only one to call him âspenceâ⌠then we see literally EVERYONE call him spence? i get it, people pick up on habits but if the writers wanted to that be a JJ and Reid thing, then why ensure every other character also calls him that? I also think it was strange that he just randomly decided to spring he liked her, took her on a date, anddddd literally nothing happened. they mentioned it once the next episode and spence said he didnât wanna talk about it. + JJ showed literally no interest, im pretty sure she thought it was a friendly outing. Then, to me at least, she acted more like a mother (cue the âboys behaveâ scene when morgan smacked the back of spencerâs head and spence complained to JJ like a kid sibling would do to their mom (can confirm I was that kid)).
And then she randomly confesses seasons later? I say randomly because it was a bizarre writing choice. I understand the circumstances of the episode and that it was confess or get shot but they couldâve had her confess ANYTHING ELSE??? like the writers couldâve chosen for her to admit anything but instead to drag something from season 1 episode 4 back up. they sunk the ship and tried to swim down and push it back up to shore. not how a ship works babe. If youâre the captain, you go down with it, you canât fly it back up
