12 years ago today was the worst day of my life. My life had basically imploded without warning and I didn’t see it coming.     The man I thought I was going to spend my life with had met someone else and decided that our time was over. 💔    This meant I was going to lose my home that we owned together.   It meant I was going to lose my family - he had little girls who I had just spent the past 5 years loving and helped raise.   It meant I was going to lose a circle of friends - which seems to be a byproduct of most breakups.   It meant that the life that I had put my all into building had shattered.     It took time for me to process the whole situation. I was initially paralyzed and believed in my heart that he would change his mind, that he would decide that he had made a mistake, that he would come to his senses and remember all we had built together…    That didn’t happen. Instead, he told me he wanted me to move out by the following Monday and if I didn’t he would change the locks. 😳    I had nowhere to go.   I found a place but it wouldn’t be available for 3 weeks.   So I put all my things into a storage locker, and I boarded a plane to Europe to spend 3 weeks with family. I had to get out and be away from anything familiar.     My heart was broken.   I adopted Roxidoo so I didn’t have to feel alone.  It took years for me to heal.   It took more years for me to trust men again.     It took a lot of self love, personal growth and learning how to be happy alone, before I could let anyone in again.     It was 7 years before I was able to trust a man again. And even then, it was not easy to open my heart and let him in. I’m still a work in progress...    Adam and I have now been together 5 1/2 years, married for 3. And the funny thing is, that even though I struggled for so long through all that healing and growth and many many tears, it has now all melted away into the past and feels like a bad dream.     THE LESSON?     Just because you might be going through the shittiest time in your life, one day it will all melt away and you will realize how much stronger you are for having gone through it. 𝑴𝒎𝒎... 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝒔𝒊𝒑 𝒐𝒇 𝒄𝒐𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒆...☕️☺️    I don’t have to pack a lunch.   I don’t have to rush out the door.   I don’t have to sit in morning rush hour traffic.   I don’t have to spend 8 hours in a cubicle.   And I don’t have to leave my beasties home alone all day. 💖🐾🐾    Those days are in my past.     Instead:   I get to enjoy my coffee on the deck.   I get to have morning beastie snuggles.   I get to design my day however I like.   I get to work from home from my phone.   I get to work with amazing women who inspire me and push me to be better everyday.   I get to help people with their health and finance goals.   I get to love what I do!    𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 “𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐓𝐎” 𝐝𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞.     𝐍𝐨𝐰 𝐈 “𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐓𝐎” 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐈 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐈 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞.     I always knew this was possible, but for the longest time, I had no idea how I was going to do it. And then the opportunity arose.     Yes, I was scared when I started. I was scared of failing, scared of all the “what if’s,” scared of trying something new, scared of not knowing how to do it, and worst of all, scared of what others might think of me...    But I did it anyway! I gave it focused attention, I followed the training, I did what my mentors suggested to do, and after just a few months my financial stress is gone, and I 100% work from home and on my own schedule now.     I have 3 mentoring positions left for July that I will fill in the next 3 days. I could cry, I’m SO HAPPY!!     My Roxidoo is almost 12 years old. She’s been suffering from joint aches and pains for the past 2ish years.     In mid-December I started her on a liquid cet collagen. The video on the left is Day 1, the day she started taking it. The video on the right is today, 7 months later.     You can’t train a dog not to feel pain, my friends. Sundays are for beaches!! 🏖   I’m so grateful for where we live and the beauty that surrounds us.     Just a few short years ago I would be spending this time on my Sunday stressing about the week ahead, doing food prep for lunches, and feeling bummed that the weekend was almost over.     Today, I’m enjoying my beach day with my beasties and my husband to the fullest, knowing that I won’t have an alarm clock tomorrow, I don’t have to sit in the morning commute, and I don’t have to be anywhere at any specific time tomorrow.     Instead, I’ll enjoy my Monday morning coffee on the deck, do my morning workout, and start my work day when I choose. One of the things I love most about making my own schedule is that I can take Roxie and Cash out for a hike in the woods in the sun anytime I like! I can build my schedule around my beasties! 😍🐶🐶    They don't have to sit at home for 10 hours a day, while I work an office job and sit in the daily commute.     They don't have to be stuck inside and "hold it" all day until I get home.     They don't have to be alone all day, waiting for their humans to get home, only to leave them again the next morning.     They don't live for their weekend hikes and beach and camping adventures anymore, because we can do this together every single day! 😊 Yay!!    We don't have kids (yet), so Roxie and Cash are our life. They give us so much joy! They are our family. We are a pack of four.     I'm so happy that I found an income solution that allows me to maximize my time with them, because (sadly) they are only with us for a short time, and they deserve the best life we can possibly give them! 💕    Because of my online gig, I am living the entrepreneurial life I have always envisioned for myself, and I can work from anywhere at any time.
